NOTRE DAME
HOUNDS?
“We are student-athletes from across the globe, who
have goals and dreams of playing in the big leagues.” There
is no clearer proof of Notre Dame’s passion for unleashing
students’ potential than the success of its athletic programs.
From hockey to football, basketball and rugby, Notre Dame
has been a long standing sports powerhouse and a place
where Hounds learn to hone knowledge and skills integral to
future success, on and off the field.

ATHOL MURRAY COLLEGE OF NOTRE DAME
Located in Wilcox, our distinctive blending of small-town
prairie campus with outstanding teaching, academic rigor and
athletic excellence makes Notre Dame a one-of-a-kind learning
experience. Ranked among the country’s most successful
boarding schools for students in grades 9-12. Notre Dame
is home to over 300 Hounds most years.

new audience with your brand’s message, the Notre Dame Hounds can
be the answer.
Our campus boasts a full size Olympic ice surface, fully
equipped gymnasium, state-of-the-art Off Ice Hockey Skills Facility
and a high performance training facility. With various
sponsorship level opportunities available in these different
spaces, we want to make this a mutually beneficial
partnership and design the sponsorship that best fits
you and your company.
OUR AUDIENCE AT A GLANCE
Between the months of September and March, Duncan
McNeill Arena and Kenney Hall Gymnasium, in conjunction
with our live-streaming events, is host to approximately 60,000
spectators for over 500 games. The College’s 11 hockey
teams compete in various provincial, local and Western Canadian
Leagues, drawing in a diverse crowd. Notre Dame hosts 3 large
tournaments per year, 3 showcase weekends , 3 summer
hockey camps and 2 summer basketball camps in July and August.
Additionally, with a diverse student population from across
the country and the world, all home games are broadcast online
using Livestream. With the highest single-game viewership reaching
almost 900 people in 2019/20 and an average of 200 views per game,
exposure for your brand extends well beyond Wilcox and those
immediately present in our facility. Notre Dame has a network of
over 16,000 active alumni, parents, students and friends. Social media

MAKING AN IMPACT
At Notre Dame, we aim to develop the whole student-athlete,
on and off the ice, court and playingfield. With over 60% of
our students on the Honor Roll during this academic year, it
is evident that education come first. In recent years, our
female athletes lead the way in post secondary scholarships
received. Notre Dame’s athletic programs offer students from
all over the world a chance to receive elite training and
develop their skills. With 14% of our student body of
Aboriginal descent, we aim to provide greater opportunities
so that all Hounds are equipped with the tools to advance to
post-secondary, amateur and pro-ranks following the
completion of high school.
Your sponsorship is used to support the Notre Dame Hounds
Athletic Program, including:
• Renovations and maintenance of playing fields, courts, and
the Duncan McNeill Arena
• Live-streaming of all home games
• Augmenting training facility offerings
• Coaching development, certification and game affiliated fees
• Offset the cost of player expenses including uniforms and
equipment
Notre Dame’s corporate partners come from industries of all
shapes and sizes. Our partners are vital to building our programs
for student-athletes, and we are grateful to each one for their
unique contributions.

dollars to keep the Notre Dame Hounds competing
year after year. For this season, we are offering a variety of
sponsorships for companies to contribute to and share in
providing a one-of-a kind experience for Hounds.

will be operational during gameplay for each of our 11 hockey
teams. Spots can be static or motion, or have audio and are run
during stoppages and intermissions.

Notre Dame also has these options available. Each
year, the college hosts a variety of tournaments and
special events, on and off campus. These events attract
thousands of participants, making it easy for your
brand to engage with its target audience in different

The list of events varies from year to year and the College
will keep your organization informed of them well in
advance of the event dates. Some events are held on a
regular basis, like:
• Mandi Schwartz Memorial Tournament - hosted
annually, this is one of the largest female hockey
tournaments in Western Canada
• Pink Shirt Day - Notre Dame students wear pink
and participate in student lead activities to
symbolize a stand against bullying.
• Terry Fox Run - in support of cancer research and the Terry
Fox Foundation
• Orange Shirt Day "Every Child Matters" - designed to educate
people and promote awareness in Canada about the Indian
residential school system and the impact it has had on
Indigenous communities for over a century
• CSSHL Showcase Weekends - 3 of our hockey teams
participate in the CSSHL. Each will host up to 3 visiting teams
and compete in regular season games at Duncan McNeil
