Venjar-Langset Dovrebanen – en del av Section InterCityOslo Central Station • Kortere reisetid • 600 m tunnel under Oslo • Økt kapasitet Medieval Park for gods- og persontog • Archaeological excavations • Challenging ground 2023 Planlagt åpning conditions • Traffic to be considered to and from the busy central rail station
Section tunnels by drill & blast • Complicated crossings • Sensitive infrastructure • Includes drill & split with no explosives in sensitive areas • Two tubes for the Follo Line and one for the realigned Østfold Line (local trains)
Complicated crossings and restrictions in the northern part of the tunnel section Complicated crossings and restrictions in the northern part of the tunnel section

From Germany: Four tailormade tunnel boring machines constructed for extreme hard rock
At Åsland rig area 141 000 concrete elements are produced and installed in the tunnel
A TBM is like a tunnel factory installing segments for a water proof tunnel
Section Ski • A new, modern rail station with six tracks and three platforms and facilities • An open section from the long tunnel • Challenging ground conditions • Two tracks scheduled for completion Autumn 2019
Oslo Ski Entering Ski traffic hub: Complicated constructions with realignment of the existing rail line
The center of Ski: Constructions 24/7

• Currently Norway´s largest transport project • 22 km new double track line from Norway´s capital to the public transport center of Ski • Includes extensive works at Oslo Central Station, realignment of tracks, construction of a new station at Ski • Station and between the tunnel and the new Ski Station • Comprise the construction of around 64 km new railway tracks • Comprise a 20 km long tunnel; the longest rail tunnel in the Nordic countries • Excavated mainly with tunnel boring machines (TBM), but also by drill/blast and drill & split • The first long railway tunnel in Norway with separate twin tunnels (each 18,5 km long) • Will enable a 50 % reduction in journey time Oslo-Ski/ • Designed for speed up to 250 km/h • Part of the Norwegian InterCity rail development project
