MFT Young People’s event Great Manchester Run More than 370 colleagues from across all our hospitals and services took part in this year’s Great Manchester Run as ‘Team MFT’ in our own dedicated ‘NHS Blue Wave’. The opportunity focussed on encouraging staff to take part in the 10km event – from the experienced runners and park joggers, to the complete beginner. As well as helping to improve health and well-being through training and preparing for the 10km run, Team MFT raised £28,000 for our charity, which will help make a real difference to our patients.
