TRANSPORTATION FOR SCHOOL HOLIDAYS* *Dates and times for BCS Transportation for School Holidays are subject to change. BCS provides buses to and from the Montreal-Trudeau Airport (YUL), the Dorval Shopping Centre, and downtown Montreal (Windsor Station) for school opening and all school holidays and breaks. Students will be charged per bus trip, each way (approximately $60-$70). Transportation information and sign-up forms for school opening days (Tuesday, September 6 & Wednesday, September 7) are available on the BCS Portal. The bus schedule for the rest of the year is outlined below and a reminder about the sign-up will be sent before each break. Please note: residences are closed as of the bus departure time at the start of the break and reopen at 6:30 PM at the end of the break unless otherwise noted. At the end of each break, students who are not using BCS transportation are expected to arrive to their residence by 8:00 PM. The standard meeting place in the Montreal-Trudeau Airport (YUL) is in front of door 24 on the arrivals level. The BCS airport coordinator will have a cell phone activated only on travel days that can be reached at 819-674-4717. While in Toronto, students will visit the CN Tower, Casa Loma, The Rogers Centre, The Hockey Hall of Fame, the Toronto Zoo as well as numerous other attractions. The group will be treated to a dinner and show at Medieval TORONTO & NIAGARA FALLS Times and of course have lots of time to relax, shop and see the sites of NOVEMBER 4-13, 2022 Toronto. They will also be going to visit the spectacular Niagara Falls, one of Canada’s most popular tourist destinations. The group will get up close with this national wonder on the “Journey Behind the Falls” activity as well as time to experience the famous Clifton Hill area. The cost of this trip is $2,250 CAD. The registration deadline for this trip is October 11, 2022. Full payment is due at this time. 12
This is a unique way to experience the Canadian winter while having the adventure of a lifetime! Students will spend the weekend learning how to work with the dog teams and drive their own sled, as well as build an igloo, ice fish, snowshoe, horseback ride, and skate, all while learning many winter survival skills. This trip qualifies for all levels of the Duke of WINTER WILDERNESS TRIP - Ed program. DOGSLEDDING AND WINTER CAMPING The cost of this trip is $1200 CAD*. The registration deadline for this trip is February 9-13, 2023 December 1, 2022. Full payment is due at this time. Please note there is a maximum of 20 spots for this particular trip. Spots are only guaranteed once full payment is received. Students must be 14 years old to participate in this trip. BCS is happy to offer a ski/snowboarding vacation in the Ste. Anne de Beaupré and Quebec City area that will challenge all levels of skiers and SKI & SNOWBOARDING IN snowboarders. Days will be spent skiing and snowboarding on Mont Ste. Full payment is due at this time. BCS will visit Quebec’s capital, and one of the oldest cities in North America. The group will get to visit many historical sites, such as the Plains of Abraham, Vieux Quebec, and the stunning Chateau Frontenac. They will also visit some of Quebec’s premier museums as well as the QUEBEC CITY famous Montmorency Falls. WHAT TO BRING TO BCS CASUAL WEAR Students dress casually when relaxing after classes, at evening meals, and on weekends. As students spend a considerable amount of time in casual clothing, they should bring an adequate supply of clothes. However, please keep in mind that closet space is limited.
