STORAGE YARD This consists of Dredge sand filling of yard, GSB layer, Ground improvement, Yard drainages, Stacker rail foundations, Rails & fixtures, Storm anchors and wind shield. STORAGE YARD WINDSHIELD To contain dust nuisance and spread of coal cargo. Wind shield / fence will be provided all around the stock yard area. Tentative Height of wind shield is about 18 to 20 Mtr. Multi Perforated transparent sheets are provided to break the velocity of wind and to create eco - friendly environment. 16

CONVEYORS, FOUNDATIONS AND STRUCTURES. • Total length of conveyor 35 Kms. includes, - 6000 TPH conveyor of length 27 Kms with belt width 2200mm. - 4000 TPH conveyor of length 8 Kms. with belt width 1800mm. • Coal will be conveyed from jetty to the stack yard by two streams of Conveyor 6000 TPH each. • Stacking will be carried out in the yard @ 6000 TPH. • Reclaiming will be carried out @ 4000 TPH. • Single gallery with two conveyor streams (one working & one stand by) will be provided to cater the need of UMPP, APPL, Trading and Steel plant. 18

RAPID WAGON LOADING SYSTEM • Time require to load the rake : 60 to 90 minutes 20
DUST SUPPRESSION SYSTEM State-of-Art Dust Suppression system will be provided at the stockpiles and at the Discharge point as well as Feed point of conveyors in the transfer towers to control the dust generated during loading & unloading Operations. 21
