Presentation Exam
 How student should choose a topic and research question
• Personal interest
• Consensus amongst group members, size of group
• Community, aspects of everyday life
• Local or regional issues
• Preferred language (English or German): the language of the
 subject is also the language of the examination

Guidlines für the Presentation Exam
• Topic but must relate to one of these subjects: Science, Geography, Music,
 Arts, Ethics, History
• Examinee must answer the guiding question/ research question at the end of
 the presentation
• Very similar or the same guiding questions may only be repeated after 3 years
• No two groups may work on the same topic.
• Partner or group presention (up to 4 students) is compulsory
• Time allocation per examinee
 - ca. 10 minutes presentation
 - ca. 5 minutes examination interview
• Individual work must be visible during the exam
• Each examinee is assessed for his or her own performance
• At least 2 meetings with subject teacher (individual appointments) is strongly
 recommended
• The presentation tool (for instance PowerPoint, Prezi) must be compatible with
 the school´s technology, students´ responsibility!)
• The complete presentation must be able to be saved on our school computer
 after the exam for our exam records ( A link or reference to a cloud is not
 sufficient!).

Counselling function of the chosen subject teacher
The subject teacher must advise the student:
• Is the topic possible or even manageable for Y10 ?
• Is the leading question really a problem-oriented leading
question and not a dummy/ pretend question?
• Is there enough literature on the topic of the problem
question where different possible positions/answers to the
problem question are explained?
• Is there enough content for the size of the group or is the
content fairly divisible between the number of group
members?

Advice yes, but still independent performance of the student!

 Fach Deutsch
Die neuen Maßnahmen kurz zusammengefasst:
1. Fokussierung auf die Prüfungsmodule „Schreiben - richtig schreiben“,
„Mit (literarischen und linearen Sach- und Gebrauchs-) Texten umgehen“
(ohne Grafiken, inklusive Aufgaben zum Sprachwissen und zur
Sprachbewusstheit) und „Schreiben - Schreibstrategien nutzen“

2. Anpassung von Bewertungsmaßstäben der Prüfungsarbeit (in Anpassung
an die neue Gesamtpunktzahl)

3. Beibehaltung der üblichen Bearbeitungszeit

 Fach Mathematik
Für die schriftlichen Prüfungsarbeiten für den Erwerb des MSA im Fach Mathematik
2022 und 2023 werden fachlich-inhaltliche Themenbereiche bekanntgegeben, die
nicht für die Bearbeitung der Prüfungsaufgaben von Bedeutung sind. Dadurch wird
eine flexiblere Unterrichtsgestaltung und eine Schwerpunktsetzung bei der
unmittelbaren Prüfungsvorbereitung ermöglicht

Themenbereiche, die nicht Teil der schriftlichen Prüfungen zum MSA 2022 und 2023
sind:
• Größen und Messen: Berechnungen zu nicht-rechtwinkligen Dreiecken mit Sinus-
 oder Cosinussatz
• Raum und Form: Aufgaben zu Kongruenz, Ähnlichkeit; Konstruktionen,
 Verwendung des Satz des Thales
• Gleichungen und Funktionen: Exponentialfunktionen, trigonometrische
 Funktionen der Form ( ) = ∙ sin( )
• Daten und Zufall: Zählstrategien, Wahrscheinlichkeiten

 Fach English
Die Änderungen kurz zusammengefasst:
1. Im Rahmen der Prüfung werden die Kompetenzbereiche
Hörverstehen und Leseverstehen überprüft.
2. Die Bearbeitungszeit und die Bewertungsmaßstäbe werden
entsprechend angepasst.
3. Die Überprüfung der Sprechfertigkeit erfolgt verpflichtend,
kann jedoch zeitlich frei wählbar durchgeführt werden und geht in
den mündlichen Teil der Jahrgangsnote ein.
4. Die Kompetenzen Schreiben und Sprachmittlung werden
schwerpunktmäßig im Rahmen von Klassenarbeiten überprüft.
