The exams will still be given during the first 2 weeks of May, but the registration is happening much earlier in the school year. Please make sure you follow all of the steps, and pay attention to the deadlines so you don’t get stuck paying the late fee. To Register for an AP Exam: 1. MMHS Attendance Information If your student is mistakenly marked absent or tardy in a class, please have your student visit with the teacher of that class, as soon as possible, requesting the teacher fix the attendance mistake. Mrs. Davis (attendance) cannot remove or change something a teacher has marked, she can only excuse their absence or tardy. If your student is late to class, be sure they sign the Tardy Log in the classroom to ensure they are only marked tardy and not absent. Also, parents cannot excuse a Sluff. Students or parents who would like more information about why their student received a Sluff may contact the teacher who assigned the Sluff. Thank you! Any questions please contact Cheryl Davis, our attendance secretary. To leave a voicemail for Mrs. Davis please call 801-794-6740 and select option #1, then option #2. You may email Mrs. Davis at: cheryl.davis@nebo.edu PTSC Corner Our Parent Teacher Student Club is already in full swing planning events to support our school, hoping to make it the best school year yet! What does the PTSC do? Some of the things we do for students include: sponsoring a monthly student service club, awarding yearly scholarships to graduating seniors, coordinating Val-o-grams, and providing financial support for various student activities. We show our love and appreciation to teachers and staff by providing PTC dinners, monthly appreciation, birthday treats and teacher/staff appreciation week. How can you get involved? We can’t do these great activities without the support of our parents in the community. You can join for $5 per person or $10 per family. All proceeds stay in our school! Dues can be paid through myschoolfees.com under the optional student fees tab or the finance office. We will also post opportunities for help or donations throughout the year. We still have committee co-chair positions available, including President-Elect, Teacher Appreciation Week, and Senior All-Night Party. If you have interest in serving as committee co-chair or help on a committee, please reach out to Angie Workman utdaisy@yahoo.com, or any other board member. We are looking forward to another great year! Angie Workman, President Kelly Burtenshaw, Secretary Jenny Garrett, Treasurer ti
