MISCELLANEOUS GENERAL INFORMATION Morning Announcements • Made every morning to students. Announcements must be submitted by 6th period of the previous day. THE INSIDE SCOOP • They are posted outside each building office on the bulletin boards and on Jupiter Ed under the Materials tab • We post what you need to know in the Sentinel Parent Resource Organization (PRO) Meetings • Parent Resource Organization (PRO) meetings are held four times per year. These include a new parent/old parent meet and greet in the fall, an evening Lenten reflection for parents in the spring and two other speaker events with socials, one each semester. The PRO strives to bring high quality speakers to inspire and support Seton parents. Beverages and refreshments are served and the evening is meant to be an enriching night out. Please take advantage of these opportunities to build community among Seton families. Snow Policy • If inclement weather is pending the next day, Seton will make an announcement via Jupiter Ed by 8 pm. If the weather worsens overnight, an updated announcement will be made via Jupiter Ed by 6 am that day. • For delayed openings, Seton classes begin at 9:30 am. If a late opening occurs on a Monday Mass, classes will begin at 9:30 am, but students are not required to attend Mass on such days. Seton Happenings, • If Seton is in session and weather becomes inclement, Seton will never close early. Parents are welcome to pick up their Clubs student OR call to give permission to let their student drive home. and Activities Masses (Monday and Friday) • Seton students attend Mass twice a week. On Monday, students attend the 8:30 Mass at All Saints Church. They are 2022-2023 taken directly to All Saints and should arrive at least five minutes early. They sit in assigned rows. Fall Play SPORTS • THIS YEAR’S FALL PLAY (directed by Matt Moore) is Harvey. • The play is open to all students grades 7-12. In Data Science Club you'll learn how to program and train Deep Neural Networks, Mythology: TBA Last year Mythology started in November and the most powerful form of Machine Learning - often referred to as weekly on a TBD school date. National Honor Society (NHS): (Mrs. Lucas and Mrs. Duran) The St. Seton Theatre Arts Seminar (STARS): (Mr. Moore) Now in its seventh Elizabeth Ann Seton Chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS) is year, the SETON THEATRE SEMINAR will focus on history of theatre, a student run service organization.
