MILANO MODA UOMO January 12th/15th 2013 On Saturday, January 12th, opens Milano Moda Uomo, the most important world event dedicated to men’s pret-à-porter, with the presentation of Fall/Winter 2013-2014 collections. The calendar of Milano Moda Uomo 12/15 January 2013 will foresee 71 collections, 38 fashion shows for 37 brands (with one double show) 27 presentations for 27 brands and 8 presentations on appointment for 7 brands. The big names, such as Burberry Prorsum, Bottega Veneta, Dolce&Gabbana, Fendi, Giorgio Armani, Gucci, Jil Sander, John Richmond, Ermenegildo Zegna, Etro, Missoni, Prada, Salvatore Ferragamo etc. will once again be in Milan’s spotlight. Among the novelties of this edition of Milano Moda Uomo is the return in calendar of BELSTAFF, with a show, and of BRUNO MAGLI, and for the first time ANTONIO MARRAS will present the collection PIQUADRO. Prestigious events, including the special one of ROBERTO CAVALLI, the Inauguration of the exhibition for the 20th anniversary of the Carla Sozzani Gallery, the Cocktail in Valentino’s Boutique and the presentation of the Sportmax Capsule Collection, will complete the important and rich calendar of Milano Moda Uomo. In the city are expected around 10,000 sector operators from all over the world, about 1,000 media representatives from 23 countries, including more than 400 accredited by Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana. Also on the website of CNMI (www.cameramoda.it) you can follow live the fashion week: daily will be published reports on the fashion shows, presentations and events. Just a few minutes from the beginning of each show will be available on the website of CNMI the related PHOTO GALLERY, thanks to the service provided by Imaxtree, as well as the press release of each brand. This service is intended to facilitate the work of qualified professionals and to allow the public to experience live, on www.cameramoda.it, this new edition of Milano Moda Uomo. Only for men’s edition the PRESS ROOM will be set up on the ground floor of the official seat of CNMI in via Gerolamo Morone, 6. Equipment such as PCs, printers, phones and an internet connection will be available to all accredited press, and a location will be dedicated to fashion bloggers invited to Milan Fashion Week. A buffet will be available to guests for lunch or just for a quick rest during the day. Furthermore the CANON CENTER, dedicated to professional photographers equipped with Canon equipment, will be of support to them, thanks to the presence of qualified personnel. Also for this edition will be made available to the accredited press two useful and functional services: shuttles that - for the entire duration of the event - will follow the path of the fashion shows ensuring the link between the various locations and the service Bike-Mi, the popular Bike-sharing service that will be offered for free from 12th to 15th January 2013. MILANO MODA UOMO 12th to 15th of JANUARY 2013 PRESS ROOM IN VIA MORONE 6 The personnel of CNMI will wait for the accredited operators of Milano Moda Uomo in the press room set up on the ground floor of Via Gerolamo Morone 6 (crossroad of Via Manzoni, just steps away from Piazza della Scala). On the second floor are the offices of Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana and on the ground floor, from Saturday 12th to Tuesday 15th of January 2013, will be offered the following services specially dedicated to all accredited press: Computers, printers, telephones, internet access and Wifi Bar service and buffet Distribution of BIKE-MI free subscription cards CANON CENTER RESERVED FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS The Press Room and the services offered inside will strictly observe the following timetable: from 9.30 am to 7.30 pm from Saturday 12th to Monday 15th of January 2013 from 9.30 am to 3.00 pm on Tuesday 15th of January 2013 THE SHUTTLES AND THE BIKE-MI SERVICE Camera Nazionale della Moda - as always - offers to accredited press with a personal pass, a free shuttle service, set up to offer to the operators a practical and comfortable means of connection to move from one show to the other. All transfers will be available for the whole Milano Moda Uomo event, from Saturday 12th of January to Tuesday 15th of January, starting every morning at 9.00 from Piazza Duomo (front of Via Mercanti). The shuttles will be located outside every show site and from there, at the end of each show, one after the other, at short intervals and when full, they will move toward the site of the next show. The last one will leave the site after a waiting time of no more than 20 minutes after the end of the show, this so it won’t be late for the start of the next show. Hostess and stewards of CNMI will manage the service on location. The itinerary will perfectly respect the calendar of the shows and the service will terminate after the last show of the day. For some years CNMI, attentive to the problems caused by traffic and pollution in the cities, has been offering to accredited press also a free subscription to the Milano Bike-Sharing service. The subscription card, which allows for the use of bicycles from 12th to the 15th of January, can be picked up in Via Morone 6, previous request to the Press Office.
