MEXICO CITY MAY 15-18 2023 The premier conference focused on currency policy, strategy and technical innovation – since 1992. CC.CURRENCYRESEARCH.COM
Welcome We invite you to join your fellow leaders in Currency in Mexico City to debate and discuss the currency policy and strategy matters that are top-of-mind. With a long-established history as the industry’s premier event, this independent forum is renowned across the industry for it’s continuing ability to draw together senior central bankers from approximately 70 central banks who regard it as a must attend event providing unparalleled educational, networking, and social experiences. The currency industry has probably never faced a time of more rapid change, with new payment technologies changing consumer behaviour in a post-pandemic world that is still forming, and is therefore difficult to project into the future, and with an intense debate about the role of cash in the future, especially in view of digital currencies. With the help of the Advisory Board, Currency Research have curated a program reflecting these issues and given thought leaders from the industry an opportunity to discuss these topics. Mexico City is the oldest city in the Americas, built upon the ruins of the Aztec Empire’s capital Tenochtitlán. The city is steeped in history and has long been a centre of anthropological, historical and cultural relevance. Now, this restless megalopolis represents the perfect marriage between old and new, as it has become an epicenter of art, design, architecture, culture and culinary delights as well as being a hub of Latin American art, culture and pre-Hispanic anthropological wonders. We trust you will be intrigued with what you read in this brochure – plus, know we will have even more in store for you to make this a complete experience! We look forward to welcoming you in Mexico City; ¡vámonos! Jens Seidl Tom Mitchell CEO & President Vice President / Director
