aspects such as mobility, catering, venue, accommodation etc.
In doing so, we place great emphasis on giving equal weight
to the economic, environmental and social dimensions of
sustainability. A Green Note, and potentially a certificate and
other communication elements, can be used to highlight the
notion of sustainability during the event, and enable it to be
used for reports.

CRYSTALS AND ROYALTY IN REGENSBURG
During the days of the Perpetual Diet, Regensburg’s Prince Thurn and Taxis was the emperor’s representative when the emperor
himself was unable to attend meetings. Get to know the former Free Imperial City and the historic Diet site on the “A rendezvous with
Europe” tour. The idea of “tradition goes future” was beginning to emerge even back in the early times. And openness, hospitality and
considerable international influence continue to shape the modern-day UNESCO World Heritage city to this day. Among the examples
of this are the delicious chocolates from Germany’s oldest coffee shop. These were served during the time of the Perpetual Diet on the
recommendation of an envoy from France, and are today still popular as gifts for hosts on special occasions.
Choose from over 400 different tours (with or without theatrical performances) and 2000 years of history. All tours can be adapted
to specific requirements. For example, tours can also be arranged from hotels to venues or from venues to evening events as brief
escorted outings, giving your participants the opportunity to get to know the UNESCO World Heritage Site. For a dazzling highlight,
take a dinner cruise on one of the “crystal fleet” vessels made exclusively from millions of Swarovski crystals. Your night may well end in

Other suggested activities for accompanying social events that stick with the crystal and royalty theme include a visit to the Crystal
Museum in Riedenburg, the Joska crystalworks with traditional artisanal glass-blowing in the Bavarian Forest, or a tour of Thurn und
Taxis Palace, where the royal family continues to live today.

THE BAVARIAN REGENSBURG
The people of Regensburg know a thing or two about Bavarian hospitality. Fancy taking a Weisswurst sausage seminar as a unique

experience. The beer can be collected approximately 12 weeks after the brewing course (complete with an exclusively
designed label) and distributed to participants.

original mustard brand. Or sailing down the Danube to the sounds of Bavarian
music on a replica of an old salt barge, while enjoying a beer tasting over a typical
Bavarian Brotzeit snack?
Whether it be a Bavarian menu package, Bavarian restaurants, leafy beer gardens
or the world’s oldest sausage kitchen, all options are a great way to relax and
explore Bavarian culture. And be sure to also visit the new Bavarian History
