1 Elizabeth Quay – Private Developments Elizabeth Quay has created a magnificent precinct that returns the city’s focus to the iconic Swan River. The public realm opened in 2016 ahead of the private developments including hotels, restaurants and retail outlets. 2 Perth Museum The New Museum for Western Australia is one of the most significant museum redevelopments in the world today, set to open in 2020 in the heart of the Perth Cultural Centre. The New Museum will be four times larger than the previous museum with 7000sqm of gallery space and a total investment of $428m. 3 Perth City Link – Yagan Square Perth City Link reconnects the city centre with Northbridge for the first time in 100 years, creating a vibrant new mixed-use precinct.
