ACCOMMODATIONS
HORSESHOE ROOMS
Our Horseshoe Room is generous and accommodating, offering two
queen size beds or one king size bed with a pull out sofa and small sitting
area, as well as a flat screen television, fridge and gorgeous finishings.
Each room features a bath with a glass stand-up shower and hand-held
rain slide bar.
Horseshoe Rooms can comfortably sleep up to four people.
DELUXE ROOMS
Our charming Deluxe Room offers a sunken sitting area with a cozy electric
fireplace and a luxurious bathroom with an oversized whirlpool tub. Enjoy
two queen size beds or one king size bed with a pull out sofa.

LOFT SUITES
This two-level suite overlooks the spectacular Valley Golf Course and features
a main floor with a sunken sitting area and fireplace, desk, pull out sofa
and two-piece bathroom. The spiral staircase leads to a sky-lit bedroom
featuring a king size bed, second television and full bathroom with an
oversized whirpool tub.
Loft suites sleep up to four people.
COPELAND HOUSE CONDOS
Copeland House is the ideal home-away-from-home for anyone who
wants the feel of a residence in a hotel suite. Choose from a one bedroom
suite, one bedroom deluxe suite or a two bedroom suite. Each unit has a
fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, pull out sofa, fireplace, LCD
television with DVD player and a balcony or walkout with views of the
valley or ski hill.
One bedroom suites sleep up to four people and have one washroom.
Two bedroom suites sleep up to six people and have two washrooms.
SLOPESIDE CONDOS
Pamper yourself in an immaculately designed two bedroom suite, featuring
an open concept living-dining room, gourmet kitchen, den and gas fireplace.
All suites offer balconies with fabulous views of the ski hill.
Slopeside Condos sleep up to eight people and have two washrooms.

VENUES
ALPINE ROOM
Our largest indoor venue, seating up to 140 in a classroom style or 220 for
a banquet. Featuring 14 foot ceilings, this 4,050 square foot room offers
spectacular ski hill views.
FAIRWAY ROOM
This freshly renovated 1,920 square foot venue accommodates 40 to 160
guests in a variety of layouts.
LEACOCK & ELLSMERE BOARDROOMS
Dedicated 400 square foot boardrooms seat up to 16 people and feature
built-in AV.
COPELAND ROOM
Get down to business in 495 square feet of space with 10 foot ceilings and
built-in AV. Ideal for 20 - 30 individuals.
KEEWATIN ROOM
Accommodating up to 36 people for a boardroom meeting or 76 for a
reception, this 890 square foot room offers a spacious yet intimate setting.
SIMCOE ROOM
The 675 square foot Simcoe Room accommodates up to 28 people for a
boardroom meeting or up to 50 people for theatre style.
VALLEY VIEW TENT
The Valley View Tent offers an ideal outdoor setting and is located adjacent
to the Inn Steakhouse dining room. Available May to October, this space can
accommodate groups of up to 220 guests and provides beautiful views of
the historic Valley.
ELLSMERE CHAPEL
The Ellsmere Chapel is a rustic chapel used for ceremonies and prayer. The
space holds up to 65 people and features 14 foot ceilings.
GO WEST ROOM
The perfect country-chic venue to host your lunch or dinner, accommodating
up to 100 guests banquet style. This semi-private space is located beside
the Crazy Horse Sports Bar & Grill.

CRAZY HORSE SPORTS BAR & GRILL
Crazy Horse Sports Bar & Grill is a fun filled atmosphere with friendly

Pull up a stool at our hand-crafted pine bar and cheer on your favourite

ALPINE CAFETERIA
During the winter months, the Alpine Room serves as our cafeteria, offering

This cozy coffee shop is located in the chalet at the base of the hill and

SLOPESIDE ACTIVITIES
Add some fun to your team’s agenda with Slopeside Activities!
RIDGETOP MINI PUTT: Battle to keep out of the rough, sand and water
traps on this 18-hole challenge. No skill required!
GUIDED HIKE: Experience breathtaking views at the top of the ski hill
while you enjoy a guided hike to a number of scenic viewpoints along our
beautiful hilltop trail.
LAWN GAMES: You’ll have a blast with our giant size lawn games! Choose
from giant jenga, chess and checkers.
PING PONG: Engage in a little friendly competition with your group at our
beautiful handcrafted ping pong tables.
LAKE HORSESHOE
Lake Horseshoe officially opened in August 2017 and has been a welcome
addition to the resort! The man-made lake brings swimming, a sandy
beach and waterfront activities to resort guests. Relax on the beach, cool
off in the water or grab a kayak and go for a spin around the lake. Don’t
forget to try out the giant water inflatable and trampoline. Climb, jump
and slide your way to non-stop fun!
HORSESHOE WAKE PARK
Lake Horseshoe features a wakeboard cable system! Guests can learn how
to wakeboard in a safe, fun and controlled environment--no boat required!
Using the cable system allows beginners to get comfortable on a wakeboard
before making the jump to boat riding. If wakeboarding isn’t your thing,
hop on one of our inflatable tubes and go for a spin!

BEACH VOLLEYBALL
We’re serving up lots of fun on our beach volleyball courts! Located
between Lake Horseshoe and the ski hill, our 8 court facility offers players
a scenic and peaceful setting.
BIKING TRAILS & RENTALS
Horseshoe Resort boasts 30kms of lift access cross country and downhill
mountain biking trails, ranging from beginner to advanced. Just take the
lift to the top, kick off and ride the trails! If that’s not enough riding for
you, ride over 4,000 acres of single track terrain in the Copeland Forest.
If road biking is more your style, Oro-Medonte has more than 800kms of
paved rural roads.
TREETOP TREKKING
Treetop Trekking at Horseshoe Resort is Ontario’s original aerial game
and zip line park. Spend a day climbing and zipping from tree to tree! Treetop
Trekking also offers Night Treks and team building programs.
During your day in the trees, you will be accompanied by a team of friendly
and experienced guides that will ensure you have fun in a safe environment.
Combine Treetop Trekking with Slopeside Activities for a full-on day of fun

YAMAHA ADVENTURES
Experience off-road riding in a safe and enjoyable environment. No previous

DOWNHILL SKIING

NORDIC SKIING
Experience 30kms of both track set and skate ski groomed trails through

FAT BIKING
Fat bikes are designed for riding along snowy trails and allow adventurers
to experience the winter landscape in a new way. Our Fat Bike trail has

SNOW TUBING
Get your heart pumping with the all thrill, no skill fun of snow tubing on
Ontario’s longest snow tubing hill. With multiple BIG chutes to fly down
and a magic carpet to whisk your group back up to the top, arrange an

SNOWSHOEING
Snowshoeing is a great way for your group to work out and enjoy the
trails! Horseshoe Resort sits on the edge of the Copeland Forest, where
your group can enjoy snowshoeing through stunning trails.
SLOPESIDE SKATING
Go for a spin on our outdoor rink or play a game of pick up hockey. The

TAXES AND SERVICE CHARGES
Food and beverage and function services are subject to a taxable 15% service charge. The regular 13% HST
also applies to all transactions.
OUTSIDE FOOD AND BEVERAGE
All food and beverage services for your group must be provided by Horseshoe Resort. To maintain the high
food quality standards the resort has set, Horseshoe Resort reserves the right to make changes and/or
substitutions and cost adjustments based on availability of product and current market value. In accordance
with health and safety regulations, food and beverage products may not be removed after a function.
Wedding cakes are the only exception to this rule.
SPECIAL MEAL REQUESTS AND FOOD ALLERGIES
Please inform us of guests that have food allergies and medical dietary restrictions so that the necessary
precautions can be taken when preparing their meal. Please be aware that food in our kitchens may contain
or may have been in contact with peanuts, nuts, seafood or other possible allergens, so we cannot guarantee a
100% allergy free environment.
FUNCTION GUARANTEES
Seventy two (72) hours prior to the function, a final guarantee of the number of attendees is due to your
Group Coordinator/Manager. This guarantee will be the minimum of covers charged. If this guarantee is not
given to your coordinator, the estimated number of attendees given will be used for billing. If your guarantee
is over by more than 5% the day of the event, we will do our best to accommodate and will bill accordingly.
PACKAGE HANDLING AND RECEIVING
All packages can be sent to our Shipping and Receiving Department, which is open Monday to Friday from
8am to 3pm. Please give notice to your coordinator if anything is being shipped. Storage of packages is subject
to space availability. Please label each package with the name of the Group Coordinator/Manager, date of
event and number of boxes.
POSTING AND DECORATIONS
All signage displayed in public areas must be professional and tasteful. Nothing is to be attached, in any
manner, to the walls of the banquet rooms or in the hallways. All open flame candles must be enclosed in a
glass container which exceeds the height of the flame.
SOCAN
All musical entertainment is subject to a $100.00 SOCAN fee (Society of Composers, Authors and Music
Publishers of Canada), plus applicable taxes.
AUDIO VISUAL EQUIPMENT
Please note that if you require any audio or visual equipment we would be glad to provide you with a quote.
