11 mediTECHBEDSIDE MEDICAL OXYGEN SYSTEM BNOS Meditech offers a Bedside Medical Oxygen System for the Marine and Off- shore Industry. Our complete on-board medical oxygen systems allow the user to administer oxygen therapy to two patients at the same time. BNOS Meditech’s medical oxygen system meets latest IMP IMDG / MFAG Regulations. The Bedside solution offers a 40L medical oxygen cylinder which is located inside the ships hospital already. The cylinder is mounted to the / secured the bulk head by the cylinder rack. The regulator is mounted on the top of the cylinder with a BS schrader outlet (other outlets available upon request). A twin flow selector connects to the ships bulk head directly with a mounting plate or a rail mounting bracket. It is supplied with a 2M hose assembly. The twin flow selector can be supplied with two rate options; 0-25lpm or 0-15lpm. The flow selector can be supplied with a 9/16th or 3/8th BSP threaded outlets for use with humidifier or fir-tree. Various oxygen therapy consumables can be supplied with the Bedside Medical Oxygen System which include; high concentration oxygen therapy masks and Nasal cannula’s. BNOS Meditech can also supply “outside medical room” and “Norwegian” Medical Oxygen Systems. mediTECH 12

• The Microvent Mariner Kit is designed for use in an emergency when breathing has
stopped or respiratory assistance is needed. It can be used with a resuce stretcher or to
deal with a complicated resuce where the duration of normal resuscitators is insufficient.
• A casualty / patient harness helps move casualty, stretcher and resuscitator safely -
together. Head harness and hook ring hld the resuscitation face mask to casualty during
resuce.
• The microVENT has a remarkably effcient use of Oxygen that long duration is doubled
by operating from two cylinders, often over 90 minutes. The Oxygen Cylinders are auto-
matically used one before the other and the system also enables continuous use of the
resuscitator while an empty cylinder is exchanged.
The Kit includes:
• Microvent Advanced Adult Resuscitator with automatic and manual modes of op-
eration. Fitted with 1M supply hose with BS terminal probe. Automatic setting pre-set to
Adult: 600ml breath at 12 breaths per minute.
• Two meditech Mariner Oxygen Regulators (head end and foot end) with pin index inlet
connector and BS medical Oxygen Schrader outlet.
• Pneumatic harness with switching shuttle valve fitted with BS medical Oxygen fittings.
• Casualty harness with secured head harness, two Cylinder storage pods with draw
cords and zipped closure, Resusitator storage and waist strap.

Our analgesic demand valve is designed for use with 50/50 N20/02
(Nitronox/Entonox®) to meet BS4272-2. It is extremely strong with
practical features to avoid cross contamination which provides a
good patientexperience. There is low patient effort required. Our
