Introduction
China is a world leader in the designing, building, and using vision and image
processing systems. And although Vision Systems Design magazine was reaching
over 122,000 buyers world wide with its English edition, it recognized the need for a
Chinese language edition to serve the large, expanding China market. For this
purpose, ACT International Media Group (one of the largest high-tech media compa-
nies in China) publishes the Chinese-language edition of VSD—Vision Systems Design
China.
VSDC's editorial team is headquartered in Beijing, adding a balanced mix of news, tech-
nology features, and interviews to a foundation of VSD-supplied editorial focused
exclusively on the information needs of machine vision and imaging professionals. Our
editors address these needs through a variety of offline and online information products
that help vision and automation professionals develop and manage vision systems
today and optimize those systems for the future.
Vision Systems Design China is published every two months in Simplified Chinese. The
print version is distributed control-free to 12,800 readers; the electronic version and its
associated e-newsletters are distributed to 22,000 readers. Our website serves over 65,601
unique visitors per month (Aug 2020). And in China, social media means WeChat with over
13,500+ self-defined VSDC followers turning to VSDC's Official Account pages for the latest in
news and technical information. No other vision-focused media-provider delivers as many
influencers.

VSD China also organizes VisionCon—a series of conferences with exhibits located close to
vision-system suppliers' customers. In 2021, the conferences will be held in Chengdu, Suzhou,
Shanghai, Xiamen and Shenzhen.

Welcome ads (also known as Cover ads or Roadblock ads) are full-page ads
that appear on top of the page when arriving at a URL. This unit captures the
user’s browser for display of the ad and then redirects/closes after a set time
