Massachusetts Law School Consortium (MLSC) January 2021 Government & Public Interest Virtual Interview Program All students are invited to participate in the MLSC’s Government & Public Interest Virtual Interview Program. Below is the list of organizations that registered to participate. Here’s how it works: 1. Students apply through the MLSC Symplicity Site between November 12th at noon and December 1st at noon. Students will have to set up a profile and upload application materials to MLSC Symplicty to bid on employers. The deadline is December 1st at Noon. You do not have to wait until December 1st to apply. You may submit your bids at anytime prior to the application deadline. 2. The MLSC will send the application packets with interested students’ applications to employers by December 2nd. No late applications can be accepted. 3. Employers will review application packets and make their selections. If selected for an interview, students will be notified by the employer anytime after December 2nd. Interviews will be virtual, and will be managed and hosted by the employer on the virtual interview platform of their choice. Most of the interviews are expected to be conducted by employers during the month of January (January 4 – January 29, 2021). The Summer Legal Intern Program offers an invaluable learning opportunity for selected law students and includes a structured program of trainings, events, and presentations. While here, students develop their legal skills and perform substantive work that contributes to the mission of the AGO. Internships are on an unpaid basis, although some students are able to obtain funding through their law schools or other funding sources. Such work includes responding to requests for personally identifiable information, evaluating representative sanctions, and investigating allegations of civil rights violations.
