03 art and traditions City hall - Martigny Abbaye - Saint Maurice Mazot-Museum - Martigny-Combe Back to the origins Martigny-la-romaine (Roman Martigny) has preserved its archaeological remains, while the town of Saint Maurice ex- hibits the Abbey’s Treasure. There is art everywhere, at the turn of a corner, in the woodcut engravings on a cabin, in city roundabouts, at the Pierre Gianadda Foundation and its park of sculptures, at the Musée Marconi, along the ancient Roman road Via Francigena, in the stained glass windows of St. Maurice’s Abbey, as well as those created by Hans Erni.
