Operation Cookie Share and Adopt-a-Soldier Programs Operation Cookie Share and the Fall Product Adopt-a-Soldier programs were started in 2011 as a give-back program to our military women and men at home and abroad. Girl Scouts ask their customers if they would like to contribute a box of cookies or donate to our military men and women. These programs demonstrate the power and hearts of our Girl Scouts and our community. Highest Girl Scout Awards Bronze. Silver. Gold. These represent the highest honors Girl Scouts can earn as Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, and Gold Awards Gold Awards Ambassadors. All three awards give girls the chance to do big things while working on an issue that’s captured their interest in a big way. Whether they want to plant a community garden at school and inspire others to eat healthily for the Bronze, advocate for animal rights for the Silver, or build a career network that encourages girls to become scientists and engineers for the Gold, they’ll inspire others (and themselves). The first step for a girl interested in earning her highest award is participating in an Award Chat. Award Chats will discuss the guidelines for earning the Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards. The chats will be hosted as a go-to meeting, which will consist of a PowerPoint training that outlines the guidelines, paperwork and deadlines.
