VETERANS MEMORIAL PARK OF MAPLE GROVE Salute our armed forces by sponsoring an engraved paver at the Veterans Memorial, located at Central Park of Maple Grove. Three paver sizes are available. Candlelight Memorial ANGEL OF HOPE CANDLELIGHT MEMORIAL Monday, December 6, 2021, 7 p.m. Maple Grove Arboretum, 9400 Fernbrook Lane, Maple Grove Candles will be provided, bring a white flower to leave next to the statue. The Angel of Hope has become a place of peaceful remembrance for many that have experienced the loss of a loved one. The Candlelight Memorial is for the entire community and will consist of a short meaningful program at the Angel of Hope Statue. Adaptive Recreation REACH FOR RESOURCES ADAPTIVE RECREATION The adaptive recreation program is a cooperative effort of REACH for Resources and the cities of Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Golden Valley, Plymouth, Maple Grove, Chanhassen, Chaska, Waconia and St. Louis Park. REACH is an agency which serves individuals with developmental disabilities and their families in Western Hennepin County. Services include adaptive recreation, independent living support and counseling. For information and registration procedures, call 952-200-3030. NOTE: For persons not living in one of the above communities, you are considered a Non-Resident and need to add $8 to select registration fees. Learn To Skate - Click here for registration link MAPLE GROVE SKATING SCHOOL 22nd ANNUAL ICE SHOW (AGES 3 – ADULT) LEARN TO SKATE USA PROGRAM Any participant registered CONTINUOUSLY in the Maple Grove An Indoor Ice Skating Program at the Skating School Learn To Skate USA Program at the Maple Grove Maple Grove Community Center Ice Arena Community Center Ice Arena, from October 2021 through April 2022, is eligible to participate in the 2022 Maple Grove Ice Show. The Maple Grove Skating School “Learn to Skate The Ice Show is scheduled for April 16, 2022. Music for Everyone MUSIC FOR EVERYONE Offering private music lessons and group activities for students of all ages, from pre-schoolers to adults. The cities of Maple Grove, PRIVATE LESSONS, BEGINNER-ADV. LESSONS Brooklyn Park and Plymouth have formed this music consortium to present quality music instruction to their residents. PRIVATE LESSONS PRIVATE PIANO Ages 7 – Adult 404201-01 The private music lesson program is ultimately designed to be a 12 month continuum for the entire year. Registration fees are taken on a quarterly basis. New students can enroll for private PRIVATE GUITAR lessons at any time during the quarter, as space allows and fees 404201-02 can be pro-rated. Lesson times will be arranged by individual teachers. All private lessons are 30 minutes long and meet once per week. Additional costs will occur for lesson books and PRIVATE VIOLIN/VIOLA PRIVA materials. If an instructor has to cancel due to an emergency, the 404201-03 instructor will try to make-up the lesson or a refund will be issued at the request of the participant. PRIVATE VOICE The lessons are held at the Maple 404201-04 Grove Community Center and the Village Hall at Lakeview Knolls Park. Virtual options are available if requested.
