PUMPKIN TRAIL
OCTOBER 27TH - 30TH, 2022
Join Parks and Recreation and be a part of a spectacular fall scene of
pumpkins and foliage in one of Lubbock’s favorite family traditions. Over
25,000 people walk through our 1/3 mile trail lined with over 1,800 carved
pumpkins donated by the community.
The festivities last four nights, running October 27-30.
Our goal for 2022 is to have 2,000 pumpkins on the trail. With the many
contributions from organizations, businesses, and the wonderful citizens of
Lubbock we can achieve this goal.
This event is completely FREE to the public thanks to local individuals and
businesses contributing sponsorships. Check out the information about our
sponsor packages to see your interest in contributing
to this community event.

ADULT RECREATION LEAGUES
Adult recreation leagues are offered throughout the year for all levels of play from beginners
to advanced. Each sport is guided by the rules from the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation
(TAAF) and/or their specific sanctioning organization.

CORNHOLE LEAGUE ADULT SOFTBALL
Parks and recreation offers five sessions of Parks and recreation offers three sessions of

The Burgess-Rushing Tennis Center is open year round and offers 16 lighted courts, a full-service
pro-shop, memberships, lessons, clinics, USA League play, tournaments, bleachers, and ball
machine rentals. Four lighted Pickleball courts are also available. Memberships are available, but not
required.
