Sale Information:
Registration Papers & Signed Transfers: If you are selling registered horses, registration
papers and signed transfers will be collected when you check-in your horse. Paperwork must
be in order before entering the sale ring or horses will be sold as grade. Transfer fees are
deducted from your sales check and papers will be forwarded to the associations by the office.
Buyers! Registration papers are transferred into the name you register your buyers number
under, please tell the buyers cashier if this is different when you settle up. Questions on
registration papers, please refer to LaVaughn in the main office.
Percheron Consignors: Percherons cannot be sold on application for registration.
Belgians sold "eligible to register:" Submit the completed application for registry and signed
transfer form when you check-in your horse. If consignor decides to sell at "buyers expense"
announcement in the ring must be made, paperwork will be forwarded by the office.
Mares "In Foal:" All mares to be sold as in foal, must be preg checked within 30 days prior
to sale. Confirmation slip from your vet must be present, or have your mare checked at the
sale prior to entering the sale ring.
Coggins: Each horse must have a negative, original coggins, dated within one year of the date
the blood was drawn. No copies will be accepted. Have your coggins ready to turn in when
you check-in your horse. Federal lab on site for coggins day of sale.
Soundness: It is the responsibility of each consignor to announce any unsoundness at the
auction block. If a need arises in the event of a problem on the sale of a horse, on soundness,
and the consignor cannot be contacted the committee can use its own discretion and the horse
may be resold. Horses announced to be sold "At Halter" are sold "As Is." Buyers are
cautioned to pay attention to the auctioneers announcements.
Hitching: It is recommended broke horses be hitched under the supervision of the hitch
committee. Hitching beginning at 7:00 AM Tuesday, in the South Fenced Lot.
No Show Catalog & Supplement Horses: There are no substitutes in the catalog or
supplement. All horses will go through the sale ring, no private sales. All catalog and
supplement horses must be at the sale or need a signed vet slip stating reason for withdrawal.
If you do not have a signed vet slip there will be a $100.00 per horse no show charge. Buyers
travel far distances for advertised horses expected to be at the sale.
Bidding Information: The main office will open at 6:00 AM Monday and Tuesday morning.
Please have your photo ID ready to register for a buyers number. Cash, Check with ID,
Cashier's Check, Money Order are accepted. MasterCard, VISA & Discover accepted with a
3% charge.
Consignors Checks: Checks will be issued and ready for pick up on Tuesday.
Out of Sate Buyers: Please remember to pick-up your coggins and health paper at the vet's
office before loading out.
