Auction Rules Guests wishing to bid must register online at lookingglass.us/2021. Only bids from online bidders will be honored. When you create a Greater Giving account, you will also be asked to provide a credit card number to keep on file. By doing this, your winning bids and other authorized purchases and donations will automatically be charged in 2-3 business days to the credit card you provided. Contributions to Looking Glass are deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes to the extent allowed by the law. Looking Glass’s federal tax ID number is 93-0605174. Please consult with your tax or financial advisor about your auction purchases. Payment Anyone bidding, either in the Live Auction or the Silent Auction, agrees to pay the amount of his or her bid if it is determined to be a successful bid, in accordance with the rules concerning payments set forth below.
Successful bidders will be charged the total amount of their winning bids to the credit card they provided at registration. All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds except where specified. Cash refunds are not available for any unused portion of gift certificates. Expiration and/or blackout dates and restrictions may apply. A successful bid creates a legal obligation for the bidder to pay the price bid for the item. Please remember that Looking Glass Community Services depends on your contributions and good faith in order to operate. In the event that an item is unredeemed after a successful bid, Looking Glass is not only deprived of the funds you committed, but has lost the opportunity to obtain needed immediate funds from another potential purchaser of the item. If you provided your credit card and email during registration, an invoice/receipt for your purchased items will be emailed to you.
Item Removal and Usage We will be hosting a drive-thru pick-up party on Saturday, April 17th at Riverfront School from 2 p.m.—4 p.m. If you cannot pick up your items that day, you can come to our admin office at 1790 West 11th Ave. Ste 200, Eugene, OR 97402 during business hours (M-F, 8-5) After the auction closes, we will e-mail all winners more info. about retrieving the items. Reservations for all trips must be arranged mutually with the donor unless otherwise specified. Transportation is not provided to the point of experience unless so stated. Value set forth for items being auctioned are estimates only and not warranted by Looking Glass for tax purposes or for general value. Looking Glass reserves the right to add, remove, and/or modify any item from sale prior to the auction.
Bid Award Certificates These certificates are issued in lieu of products or services and must be presented to the donors of said products or services for redemption.
