Live Arts Week, the Performance Week created by Xing, expan-
des over two weeks: two separate cycles that intensify on weeken- download press kit

actions builds a point geography of places and trajectories where one
can concentrate and disperse, meet again and re-start. The program INFO

stal Rizzo and Charlie Laban Trier; musician, performer, program-
mer and inventor of SonoCybernetics Onyx Ashanti from Detroit; the
swiss choreographer Yasmine Hugonnet; the british artist and pro-
ducer Graham Lambkin; the multidisciplinary italian artist Canedi-
coda, active in the fields of sound, performance, design and fashion;
and the multimedia artist Riccardo Benassi with Morestalgia, pro-
duced by Xing which, after the recent installation in the Bologna train
station, will return in the form of a new lecture-performance.
Now in its ninth year of life, Gianni Peng IX, the name that accom-
panies the festival in its evolution as a transitional phenomenon,
continues to stand out in Italy as a rare occasion dedicated to live
arts, presenting a heterogeneous programme of performances that
revolve around the presence and the perceptual experience of
bodies, movements, sounds and visions. Also in this edition Peng we-
