In addition, you should review your credit report on a regular basis for accuracy and for protection against fraud or identity theft. Under federal law, you can receive a free credit report from each of the consumer reporting agencies (Equifax, Experian and TransUnion) every 12 months. The only authorized source to obtain a free report is www.annualcreditreport.com (or call 1-877-322-8228). To ensure you’re aware of the information on your report, it is wise to periodically check your report. Some consumers elect to get a report from one of the three credit bureaus every four months, providing a staggered look at their credit status.
Since opening our doors over 84 years ago as Columbia Teachers FCU, we have upheld a promise to be a community-oriented leader in the Midlands. Our roots can be traced back to those true champions – teachers – who helped us, our children and our children’s children realize their potential. That tradition of stability, fortitude and value has continued as the credit union evolved into a strong provider of financial products and services based on what people need and value most. Supporting Our Local Food Bank Thank you to all our members and staff who showed their support for Harvest Hope Food Bank during our annual donation drive. As a longtime supporter of Harvest Hope, we partnered with WACH FOX 57 as the main sponsor of this annual food drive for the eleventh year. With the generosity of so many of you, in addition to donations from our staff and a corporate donation, we were able to present Harvest Hope with $35,210. Since every $1 donated can distribute five meals, our total donation provided 176,050 meals for families in need during the holiday season. In total, the Share Your Holiday drive provided over 1.5 MILLION MEALS! As Harvest Hope has seen a huge increase in need for their PCFCU President Nick Wodogaza presenting our donation live on air with WACH FOX 57. services since the pandemic began, we sincerely appreciate all our members and staff, as well as other local businesses and donors who helped make this possible.
