Lease Conference Dubai 2021 in less than one month…
The Alta Group (LAR) and Invigors EMEA Ltd are pleased to invite you to have the first Lease Conference
Dubai 2021, Developments for the Middle East and Africa. Due to COVID-19 pandemic we have been
forced to postpone the Lease Conference that was scheduled for November 2020 and subsequently in
March 2021. However, due to the increased number of cases of the CORONA-19 pandemic we made the
decision to postpone for a second time!
The Lease Conference 2021 will now take place in Dubai (UAE) in less than one month on October 13 and
14, 2021. It will be a hybrid conference, which means that it will an in person conference as well as a
virtual conference!

The Lease Conference seeks to bring actionable knowledge and expertise to the players in the Leasing
business in the Middle East and Africa and set the ground for a strong integration and networking
amongst Lessors, Suppliers, Investors and Bankers, Service Providers and Regulatory Authorities across
the region.
This conference will give you the opportunity to attend in person or to participate virtual!

Since our previous Newsletter we have been working to get additional speakers, sponsors and media
partners for the conference and we are very pleased to inform you, that we have succeeded and continue
to keep working on this.

COVID-19
In this Newsletter we also find it useful and necessary to address the current COVID-19 situation in the
UAE in general and Dubai in particular. At this moment it is possible to organize an in-person conference,
of course taking into account all regulations that are put in place, like face masks, capacity and social
distancing regulations. If you are an expatriate resident of the UAE or a tourist to the UAE, you must
present a negative result of a PCR test at the departure airport. This test should have been conducted
within 96 hours before travelling to Dubai. Some residents might be tested again on arrival at Dubai’s
airport. If you are required to take another PCR test on arrival, you must remain in quarantine at your
residence until you receive the test result. If the test result is positive, you must stay in isolation and follow
the instructions of Dubai Health Authority. If the test result is negative, you do not need to quarantine
yourself. If you are a citizen of the UAE you are exempt from the PCR test prior to departure, regardless of
the city or country you are coming from. However, you will be tested on arrival in Dubai. As these
regulations may be subject to changes, you are recommended to check them before making your
reservations!

Program
The program will consist of 2 days with an overall theme of “Be Prepared for Tomorrow” for the
equipment leasing as well as auto leasing markets. One of the highlights of the conference will be the
discussion about and the presentation of the New Finance Lease Regulation. This Law is currently being
redrafted with expectations that it will be signed off in Q4-2021, post which all related sectors can rely
upon it for transparency and future opportunity. The Law will expand into the financing of all movable
and non-movable assets, including real estate which will also contribute to the continued growth and
encouraging new investment and international market entrants.

Day 1: general sessions for all delegates and networking cocktail
Day 2: tailored sessions for delegates from the different verticals of the business, including, construction
and mining equipment, information technology assets (hardware, software and services), auto finance &
car leasing, aircraft, ships and rail, and medical equipment.

Registration Confirmation & Payment Method
Upon receipt of your registration order, we will send you a letter confirming your registration request,
including payment instructions.
The registration fee amounts:
Day 1 or Day 2:                             US$ 1,200 (early bird US $ 1,080)
Day 1 and 2 Auto Finance & Car Leasing: US$ 2,400 (early bird US $ 2,160)
Day 1 and 2 Equipment Leasing:              US$ 2,400 (early bird US $ 2,160)
EXTRA:
Each delegate that will participate in the “in person” conference will also receive a free 1-day ticket
for the EXPO 2020 (general admission). This ticket is valid for single entry between October 1, 2021
and March 31, 2022.

For the delegates that will participate in the virtual conference, the following fees apply:
The conference is divided in 6 (six) clusters, which are described on the next few pages. Each cluster will
cost US$ 150.
For the different clusters no early bird rates apply.

The Lease Conference Dubai 2021 will take place on October 13 and 14, 2021.
The location will be Dubai (UAE).

Cancellation policy
Should you be unable to attend, a substitute delegate is welcome at no extra charge.
A charge of 25% of the registration fee, plus a 10% administrative charge will be billed for cancellations
received in writing to kforster@thealtagroup.com at least 30 (thirty) days prior to the conference.
Alternatively, you can choose to receive a voucher for the full conference fee paid to attend the next
event.
No cancellations will be accepted within 30 (thirty) days of the start of the conference. Therefore no
refunds will be provided and billed amounts are due in full.
In case of cancellation or postponement of the lease conference by the organization or as a result of
governmental measures due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the 30 (thirty) days period prior to
the conference does not apply.
Registrants who have already paid will receive a voucher for the full conference fee for the next
conference or will be refunded .
