PTA Update Korimako Higgins Camp Monday 16 November At the end of the year Sarah and Lauren will be West Cluster Athletics Tuesday 17 November stepping down as co-chairs of the PTA. Garden to Table This week Tui Hodgson, Korimako Higgens and We created a mound in the garden bed and Ruru made broccoli, leek and cheese fritters, a spaced out our tupu, bending them into a J-shape mixed salad and a rhubarb and coconut slice. and planting them in the mound with the root tip Fritters are a great way to use up a varienty of pointing East to maximise sunshine on the vegetables and adding some cheese to the mixure, growing vine. Term 4 Sport Tui Rippa Piwakawaka Rippa Team tui had a fast game against tauriko. Oropi Piwakawaka had a great game of rippa rugby won 8-7. All players improved dramatically. Cash today. Pukeko Rippa Kotare Rippa The Year 3 & 4 Pukeko team played Tauriko. Tries A decisive win this week for Kotare against the scored by Hikawai & Phoenix. Players of the day Tauranga Primary Hurricanes. Fabulous team work were Isabella for relentless ripping, and Oscar who lead to some great tries scored by Sam, Riley, Max came so close to scoring multiple tries, not giving and Jai. Term 4 Sport Kotare Rippa continued Korimako Rippa Player of the day went to Sam Brann who Our year 5-6 Korimako Quick Rip kids played a outpaced and outsmarted the opposition to score hard game against The Greenpark Steamers on three outstanding tries. Well done Kotare - a top Thursday. Our players maintained good pressure effort and a great result! and defence despite Greenpark's dominance and eventual win. Player of the day went to Ariki Lawson-Banks for his fearless confidence and for his spectacular mid-field run that put us on the board with a try. Big thanks to Pheonix Ottesen and Zane Delany who responded to our team's call for more players, enabling us to have a sub which was much appreciated! Special mention to Arthur Rickard who showed great courage and perseverance despite suffering two mid-game injuries this week. Tino Pai Korimako! Basketball This week we had a fast paced game against ACG ballers and came out with a win 12-0.Players of the day went to Aidan Pearson for good sportsmanship with helping out ACG's team and to Emma Morton for scoring some amazing goals!
