                                                                                   O cial Rules & Regula ons

                           1.        ELIGIBILITY:
                                         (a) To be eligible for the Knowledge First Financial* “Stars on Ice Contest” (the “Contest”), an individual
                                              must:
                                                     i. be a current subscriber to an educa on savings plan from Knowledge First Financial Inc.
                                                         (Heritage Plans, Family Single Student Plan, Flex First Plan);
                                                     ii. be a legal resident of Canada; and
                                                    iii. be of age of majority in the province of residence.
                                         (b) Those ineligible to enter the contest are:
                                                     i. employees, representa ves and agents of Knowledge First Financial, including its a liates,
                                                         subsidiaries and related corpora ons; (collec vely the “Sponsor”);
                                                    ii. employees, representa ves and agents of the suppliers of Prizes (hereina er de ned)
                                                         awarded in this Contest;
                                                   iii. employees, representa ves and agents of the Sponsor’s adver sing, promo onal, contest
                                                         ful lment and media agencies;
                                                   iv. people involved in the development, produc on and distribu on of materials related to
                                                         the contest; and
                                                    v. the immediate families of all of the aforemen oned persons, or persons with whom such
                                                         persons are domiciled. In these Contest rules “immediate family” means husband, wife,
                                                         spouse, mother, father, brother, sister, son and daughter, whether or not they reside in the
                                                         same household;
                                                   vi. groups, clubs, organiza ons, businesses and commercial and non-commercial en es.
                                         (c) The Sponsor has the right to require at any me, proof of iden ty, age and/or eligibility of any
                                              par cipant (the “Par cipant”) to allow him/her to enter the Contest. Failure to provide such proof
                                              within ve (5) days following the request could result in disquali ca on.
                                         (d) All informa on supplied to the Sponsor for the purpose of this Contest must be truthful, accurate,
                                              complete and in no way misleading. The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discre on, to
                                              disqualify any Par cipant should his or her Entry (hereina er de ned) includes false, inaccurate,
                                              incomplete or misleading informa on.

                           2.        CONTEST PERIOD: The Contest begins on August 9, 2021 at 00:00:01 a.m. (EST) (the “Contest Star ng Date”)
                                     and closes on September 20, 2021 at 23:59:59 p.m. (EST) (the “Contest Closing Date”). The period between the
                                     Contest Star ng Date and the Contest Closing Date is the Contest Period (the “Contest Period”).

                           3.         HOW TO ENTER: No purchase necessary. One entry per household. Making a purchase will not increase your
                                     chances of winning. Op ng in to receive communica ons from the Sponsor will not increase your chances of
                                     winning. Void where prohibited by law.

(a) Any a empt or suspected a empt to enter more than once per household, any use of robo c,
                                                                          automa c, programmed or entry methods not authorized by these rules, shall be deemed as
                                                                          tampering and will void all of your entries.
                                                                      (b) To enter, the Par cipant must complete the entry form on line at URL h ps:/
                                                                          info.knowledge rs inancial.ca/stars-on-ice. The entry form will request the venue of choice,
                                                                          along with the par cipant’s rst and last names, email address, day me telephone number and
                                                                          postal code.
                                                                      (c) By entering the Contest, Par cipant (i) acknowledges compliance with these O cial Rules including
                                                                          all eligibility requirements, (ii) agrees to be bound by the O cial Rules and by the decisions of the
                                                                          Sponsor and its agencies, made in its sole discre on, which shall be nal and binding in all ma ers
                                                                          rela ng to this Contest.
                                                                      (d) All entries that are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, have been submi ed through illicit
                                                                          means, or do not conform to or sa sfy any condi on of the rules may be disquali ed by the Sponsor.
                                                                          The Sponsor takes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, misdirected, late or destroyed
                                                                          entries, or for typographical or other produc on errors. The Sponsor is not responsible for any errors
                                                                          or omissions in adver sing this contest. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not
                                                                          be returned.
                                                                      (e) A Par cipant must submit an entry on his/her own behalf. Any Entry submi ed on behalf of another
                                                                          individual or using another person’s e-mail address will be disquali ed. In the event of a dispute
                                                                          regarding any Entry, the Entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail
                                                                          address submi ed at the me of the entry (i.e. the person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an
                                                                          Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organiza on that is responsible for assigning
                                                                          e-mail addresses for the domains associated with the submi ed e-mail address).

                                                   4.         INDEMNIFICATION: By entering the Contest, a Par cipant:
                                                                  (a) releases the Sponsor and its directors, o cers, employees, parent companies or corpora ons,
                                                                      subsidiaries, a liates, suppliers, sponsors and agents from any and all liability for any injury, loss or
                                                                      damage of any kind to the Par cipant or any other person, resul ng in whole or in part, directly or
                                                                      indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any Prize, par cipa on in this Contest, or
                                                                      any breach of these Contest rules;
                                                                  (b) agrees to fully indemnify the Sponsor and its directors, o cers, employees, parent companies or
                                                                      corpora ons, subsidiaries, a liates, suppliers, sponsors and agents from any and all claims by
                                                                      third par es rela ng to the Contest, without limita on.

                                                   5.         ODDS OF WINNING: Odds of winning are dependent on the total number of eligible entries received during
                                                              the Contest Period.

                                                   6.         PRIZES: There are a total of 190 prizes available to be won. Each prize consists of two (2) ckets to The Stars
                                                              On Ice 2021 Tour at one of 12 scheduled city loca ons. Each prize will also include an o cial program, a Meet
                                                              and Greet with a performer as may be available prior to the performance. Each prize is worth approximately
                                                              $150 CDN. The total value of all prizes awarded over the course of the contest is $28,500 CDN. The Contest
                                                              Sponsor is not covering the cost to get to or from the designated venue, nor any other costs the par cipant
                                                              may incur. The Sponsor is not responsible for prizes that are lost, stolen, damaged or not received by the
                                                              Winners.

                                                8.        PRIZE WINNER SELECTION
                                                              (a) 190 (190) draws will be conducted by the Independent Contest Judging Organiza on in Pickering,
                                                                  ON, beginning on September 22, 2021 at 10am.
                                                              (b) The shows in Halifax, Laval, Toronto, Hamilton, London, Calgary and Vancouver will each have 20
                                                                  Pairs of Tickets to be awarded per event. The shows in O awa, Winnipeg, Kelowna, Edmonton and
                                                                  Victoria will each have 10 Pairs of Tickets to be awarded per event.
                                                              (c) Each Poten al Winner will be no ed by email OR telephone, within ve (5) business days of the
                                                                  Draw Date. To be declared a “Winner” each selected entrant must complete and sign the Winner
                                                                  Declara on and Release form (the “Declara on Form”), including correctly answering without
                                                                  assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, the mathema cal skill-tes ng ques on set
                                                                  out on the Declara on Form, and return it, along with an Invited Par cipant Release Form, to the
                                                                  contest ful lment agency via email within ve (5) business days of receipt. If there is no response
                                                                  a er ve (5) business days, a reminder message will be sent. If there is no response a er ve (5)
                                                                  business days from when the no ca on was sent, or if the selected entrant does not complete the
                                                                  Declara on Form in this me, all rights to the Prize will be forfeited and the Sponsor reserves the
                                                                  right to draw another Winner. The Sponsor will repeat the above process for a maximum of two (2)
                                                                  more a empts, therea er the prize is forfeited with no replacement entrant being selected. The
                                                                  Sponsor and its designated agencies are not responsible for the failure for any reason whatsoever of
                                                                  a selected Par cipant to receive no ca on or for the Independent Contest Judging Organiza on to
                                                                  receive the selected Par cipant’s response(s).
                                                              (d) By comple ng and returning the Declara on Form, and accep ng a Prize, the Winner con rms
                                                                  compliance with the O cial Rules,

                                                                                                 i.              acknowledge that the Prize must be accepted as awarded, no prize selec on is allowed, and
                                                                                                                 prize cannot be subs tuted or transferred,
                                                                                            ii.                  release the Sponsor, its a liates and related companies, adver sing and promo onal
                                                                                                                 agencies, the independent contest judging organiza on and their respec ve shareholders,
                                                                                                                 directors, o cers, employees and agents from and against all liability in connec on with
                                                                                                                 the Contest and the awarding and use of a Prize, and
                                                                                           iii.                  consent to the use of their name, address (city and province), voice, image and/or
                                                                                                                 photographs, including any statements or comments about the Contest without further
                                                                                                                 remunera on, in connec on with any publicity carried out by or on behalf of the Sponsor
                                                                                                                 with respect to this Contest in any media whatsoever (including the internet and social
                                                                                                                 media websites) for perpetuity.
                                                                                           iv.                   At the Sponsor’s sole discre on, the selected Par cipant may be required to provide to the

Sponsor a copy of photo iden ca on showing their valid address. Selected Winners agree
                                                                                                            to cooperate in any inves ga ons by the Sponsor to con rm their eligibility and to help
                                                                                                            ensure that the use of such Winner in adver sing or publicity for the Contest will not bring
                                                                                                            the Sponsor into public disrepute, contempt, scandal or ridicule or re ect unfavourably on
                                                                                                            the Contest or the Sponsor as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discre on.

                              9.         LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
                                             (a) The Sponsor assumes no responsibility or liability for lost, delayed, destroyed or misdirected Entry
                                                 Forms, emails or for any computer, online, telephone, hardware, so ware or technical
                                                 malfunc ons that may occur.
                                             (b) The Sponsor is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate informa on, whether caused by users or
                                                 by any of the equipment or programming associated with or u lized in the Contest or by any
                                                 technical or human error which may occur in the administra on of the Contest.
                                             (c) The Sponsor does not assume any responsibility for any loss, damage, or claims caused by the
                                                 awarded Prize or the Contest itself.
                                             (d) The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend or modify the Contest, should a virus, bug,
                                                 computer problem, unauthorized human interven on or other cause beyond the Sponsor’s control,
                                                 corrupt or a ect the administra on, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Contest.

                              10. PRIVACY: The Sponsor respects your privacy and is collec ng personal data about entrants for the purpose of
                                  administering this Contest. By entering this Contest, a Par cipant consents and agrees to Sponsor’s collec on
                                  and use of that informa on to administer this Contest, including the Sponsor sharing with a Par cipant’s
                                  personal informa on with its third party service providers for the sole purpose of administering and conduc ng
                                  this Contest, including veri ca on of eligibility and iden ty as well as awarding and delivering prizes.

                              11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY: All intellectual property and all of the promo onal materials, web pages and
                                  source code are owned by the Sponsor and/or its a liates. All rights are reserved. Copying or unauthorized
                                  use of any copyrighted material or trade-mark without the express wri en consent of its owner is strictly
                                  prohibited.

                              12. LAWS: These are the O cial Contest rules. This Contest is subject to federal, provincial and municipal laws
                                  and regula ons. In case of dispute, this Contest shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the
                                  laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein. These Contest rules are subject to
                                  change without no ce in order to comply with any applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws or the
                                  policy of any other en ty having jurisdic on over the Sponsor.

                              13. TECHNICAL ERRORS: The Sponsor cannot be held responsible for technical failures on the part of contest
                                  so ware or human error which could result in inaccurate pos ngs and no ca ons. The Sponsor is also not
                                  responsible for email no ca ons that are rejected or do not reach a Winner. The Sponsor reserves the right
                                  to cancel a contest at any me or to correct results in order to rec fy so ware errors.

                              14. GENERAL CONDITIONS:
                                     (a) Each Prize must be accepted as awarded and is non-transferrable. Any por on of the Prize not
                                         accepted or used by the Winners will be forfeited.
                                     (b) All entries become the property of the Sponsor and none will be returned or acknowledged.
                                     (c) Mass entries, automated entries, entries submi ed by third par es and any entries or Prize claims
                                         that are late, incomplete, fraudulent, illegible, uniden ed or delayed will be void.

opera on of this Contest is a viola on of criminal and civil laws. In such cases, the Sponsor reserves
                                                                  the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permi ed by law, including criminal
                                                                  prosecu on.
                                                              (e) Par cipant acknowledges and agrees by entering this Contest that he/she is providing their
                                                                  informa on to the Sponsor. The informa on provided will only be used for the administra on of this
                                                                    Contest. Any ques ons, comments or complaints regarding the Contest must be directed to
                                                                    the Sponsor.
                                                              (f)   If, for any reason, in Sponsor’s sole opinion, the Contest is not capable of running as planned,
                                                                    including, but not limited to, a result of infec on by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized
                                                                    interven on, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of the
                                                                    Sponsor which corrupt or a ect the administra on security or proper conduct of this Contest,
                                                                    Sponsor reserves the right, subject to the approval of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux
                                                                    (the “Régie”) with respect to residents of Quebec, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the
                                                                    Contest, or these O cial Contest Rules, in whole or in part, and may select entrants from among all
                                                                    eligible entries received prior to the cancella on. Sponsor's failure to enforce any term of these
                                                                    O cial Contest Rules shall not cons tute a waiver of that provision.
                                                              (g)   The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these O cial Contest Rules shall not a ect
                                                                    the validity or enforceability of any other provision. If any provision of the O cial Contest Rules is
                                                                    determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, then the O cial Contest Rules shall be
                                                                    construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not
                                                                    contained therein.
                                                              (h)   Should any discrepancy arise between the English and French versions of these Rules and
                                                                    Regula ons, the English version shall prevail over the French version.
                                                              (i)   Persons found tampering with or abusing any aspect of this Contest, the entry process or the Contest
                                                                    Website, or whom Sponsor believes to be causing malfunc on, error, disrup on or damage will be
                                                                    disquali ed from this Contest, and may be disquali ed from any future Contest or promo on
                                                                    o ered by the Sponsor.
                                                              (j)   Sponsor reserves the right to correct any typographical, prin ng, computer programming or operator
                                                                    errors. Should a winner make any false statement(s) in any document referenced above, the winner
                                                                    will be required to promptly return to Sponsor their Prize, or the cash value thereof.
                                                              (k)   If a dispute arises as to the iden ty of a Par cipant, the Par cipant will be deemed to be the
                                                                    authorized account holder of the email address used to enter the Contest. The “authorized account
                                                                    holder” is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service
                                                                    provider, or other person or organiza on responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain
                                                                    associated with the submi ed address. The selected entrant may be required to show proof of being
                                                                    the authorized account holder and/or being a current subscriber to an educa on savings plan from
                                                                    Knowledge First Financial Inc. All federal, local and provincial/territorial laws and regula ons apply.

                                           15. QUEBEC RESIDENTS ONLY: Any li ga on respec ng the conduct or organiza on of a publicity Contest may
                                               be submi ed to the Régie for a ruling. Any li ga on respec ng the awarding of a Prize may be submi ed to
                                               the Régie only for the purpose of helping the par es reach a se lement.
