STEP #1 – PLAN ❖ Establish a time frame for your project. A Wisebuys sales representative can advise you about our lead times. ❖ Try to create the “work triangle” principle (see below). The closer to an equilateral triangle, the more efficient your kitchen. The grid sheet is in 3” x 3” increments.
1. Start measuring from the corner shown. 2. Measure the total length of all walls corner to corner. 3. Indicate window and door locations and sizes. Show individual corner to window/door trim dimensions. 4. Indicate door swings and location of electrical pugs and centre line of sink. Include waterline, floor drain locations and locations of drop ceilings and bulk heads. 5. Indicate appliance locations and sizes on chart below. 6. Double check all dimensions – individuals and totals. 7. STEP #2 – GRAPH Use the above graph to draw out your kitchen design. Please Note: The above grid is in 3” x 3” increments which is the same as our kitchen cabinets.
STEP #3 – ORDER ❖ Decide on the kitchen cabinet style you like. ❖ Using the information you have provided to our sales staff, we can create a top view line drawing and a quote based on the cabinet style of your choice. ❖ If we are installing your kitchen for you, we will schedule a time with you for an on-site measurement to verify the cabinets you have ordered will correctly fit. ❖ Once you have received your cabinets, make sure you have the tools and materials required to install your kitchen. ❖ Always keep a copy of your design plan with you while installing your cabinets. It helps if you draw the location of each cabinet on the walls and/or floor.
