EXAM RESULTS EXCEPTIONAL IB AND A LEVEL RESULTS SIBLING SCIENCE SUCCESS Congratulations to our upper sixth students on their fantastic exam results. This year, King’s was once again named as the number one IB school in The Times, with 56% of all higher level exams at level 7. Meanwhile, 47% of all A level grades were awarded A* and well over a quarter of pupils achieved at least 3 A* grades. EXAM RESULTS A CLEAN SWEEP 96% Drama scholar Lucas (U5L) achieved a clean sweep of top grades: nine 9 grades and one A*. This concludes a busy year OF ALL GCSE GRADES for Lucas, during which he performed in WERE 9-7 (OR A*-A) Jesus Christ Superstar and the Layton house play (Incident at Vichy), won the middle school house speaking competition and was awarded our Scott Drama Trophy for middle school curricular Drama. After his exams, he volunteered as a student leader during the Open Doors project. 106 BOYS ACHIEVED THE HIGHEST GRADE 9 IN BEN HITS THE MATHEMATICS RIGHT NOTES OUTSTANDING GCSE RESULTS Music scholar Ben (U5K) achieved three A*s, ten 9s and one 8 in his GCSEs. During his upper fifth year, Congratulations to all members of the King’s upper fifth on their excellent GCSE results. 153 boys sat 1,698 different he achieved distinction in grade 8 piano and began playing at ABRSM 88 exams and 96% of all grades were 9-7 (A*-A), with 82% of these grades 9-8 (A*) alone. Almost 60% of the cohort gained 9 or 8 grades (or A*) in ten or more subjects.
