A Growing Tradition On behalf of the Council of the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury, I am pleased to welcome the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA), student-athletes, and families and friends to the Town of Bradford West Gwillim- bury (BWG). We are very proud of our local Holy Trinity Catholic High School for being selected to host the 2022 OFSAA Girls “AA” Soc- cer Championship – marking the first time this provincial tournament has been held in the Town of BWG! Thank you to our devoted educators for their commitment to our young athletes and for instilling the skills of sport, perseverance, and dedication into our future leaders. Thank you to the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board for supporting Holy Trinity Catholic High School with the organization of this event – I commend you both for organizing an event of this scale in 3 months. It truly demonstrates your excitement and high regard for your students and community! And thank you to the students in our community, and those visiting our community, who are participating in the tourna- ment. On behalf of our community, myself, and fellow Council members, we are incredibly proud of you for achieving this milestone in your athletic journey and wish you a successful tournament. Congratulations to our local and visiting teams – have a friendly, fun-filled tournament this weekend! Dear Team Members, Coaches, Parents and Supporters
It is such an honour for Holy Trinity Catholic High School to be chosen to host the exceptionally talented athletes
and coaches from twenty participating teams for 2022 OFSAA Girls AA Soccer Championships. To compete at the
OFSAA level in any athletic endeavor is quite an accomplishment. I congratulate these students for their dedication
and hard work in making it to this provincial level championship. I would also like to extend my appreciation to the
dedicated coaches, the supportive school communities and all the families.
As the Director of Education of the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board, I know that the players, staff
and families visiting our area will be treated to a warm welcome by the community and in particular by the Holy
Trinity organizers.
I would like to thank all of the volunteers and coordinators who have been involved in making this event possible -
we know that a tremendous amount of work goes into organizing such a substantial competition. I wish the
athletes and coaches all the best for a safe and enjoyable experience.
