Julia Muscarello is a graphic designer with backgrounds in photography, illustration,
and art direction from Chicago, Illinois.
She graduated from St. Norbert College in 2014, majoring in Art with an emphasis in
graphic design, minored in French, and also played on the Division III Collegiate

Women’s Ice Hockey team. She studied abroad in Florence, Italy during her fall
semester of her junior year.
Julia is currently a Product Designer for Wilson Sporting Goods in Chicago, Illinois. PHOTOGRAPHY HARD-WORKING
She concepts and designs on-ball graphics for basketballs, volleyballs, soccer balls,
and footballs. Previously, she was a Designer at Schafer Condon Carter in Chicago VIDEO ORGANIZED
and designed artwork for clients such as the Chicago Cubs, Indiana Pacers, and
Johnson & Johnson.
ILLUSTRATION TEAM-PLAYER
A multi-sport athlete her whole life, her motivation to work the hardest and overcome
adversity transfers to her life in the workplace seamlessly. She thrives in a teamwork SOCIAL MEDIA DESIGN PROBLEM-SOLVER
setting and others can depend on her to get the job done right and quickly.
Outside of designing for Wilson, Julia also works as a part-time Youth Hockey Instructor LOGO DESIGN SELF-DIRECTED
with the Chicago Blackhawks at Fifth Third Arena. Additionally, she is very proud to
volunteer at Inner-City Education, a program focused on helping children from ART DIRECTION AMBITIOUS
underprivileged and underserved Chicago communities achieve their potential by giving
them access to educational opportunities and the sport of hockey.
You’ll either find her at the ice rink playing hockey for one of the city’s men’s league
teams, giving Jeep Waves to fellow Wrangler owners, or trying out all kinds of Chicago
neighborhood restaurants.

INDIANA PACERS

June 2019
Julia designed multiple concepts for the Indiana Pacers
2019/2020 season tickets. These season tickets included
5 tickets per page in a spiral notebook.

CHICAGO CUBS
Chicago, Illinois
August 2017 - November 2020
Julia worked on all types of projects for the Chicago Cubs at
Schafer Condon Carter (SCC) whether it was creating a digital
billboard or designing stickers for kids. She also worked on
campaign concepting, social media ads, and assisted with final
project production and some re-touching. She has worked on
artwork displayed at the annual Cubs Conventions for fans,
Chicago Tribune ads, game event logos, Sloan Park and
Spring Training artwork, and a logo for WGN’s final game at
Wrigley Field.

SHOPKO
Green Bay, Wisconsin
May 2013 - July 2015
Julia was a graphic designer on the fashion team for Shopko
Corporate, a retail company which had 500 nationwide stores.
Her responsibilities included designing the fashion circular
spreads and mailers, art-directing fashion photo-shoots and
working closely with buyers to create successful pages in
weekly catalogues. She also designed and art-directed
photography for the fashion social media images.
In addition to working on the fashion creative team, she also
designed creative for Back to Campus signage in all nationwide
stores. She designed gift cards for all stores for the summer
and holiday seasons.

ELLA MONTCORDOVA
Florence, Italy
Fall 2012
While Julia was studying abroad in Florence, Italy, she
was enrolled in a fashion photography class at Florence
University of the Arts. This fashion photography class
worked with Ella Montcordova, a luxury Portuguese
women's accessories company. Professor Jerry Lee
Ingram organized a photo-shoot and allowed the students
to shoot photos for the Spring ad campaign. Above and to
the right are some photos Julia captured on the shoot.
She re-touched the images and later designed some
creative layouts.

ALTA ROSA
Florence, Italy
Fall 2012
While Julia was studying abroad in Florence, Italy, she was
enrolled in a fashion photography class at Florence University
of the Arts. This fashion photography class worked with Alta
Rosa, an eco-friendly fashion company based in Florence.
Professor Jerry Lee Ingram organized a photo-shoot and allowed
the students to shoot photos for the Spring ad campaign.
She re-touched the images and later designed some creative
layouts.

JOHNSON & JOHNSON

August 2015
At Schafer Condon Carter (SCC), Julia designed content for
Johnson & Johnson. While Johnson & Johnson has many
brands within their company, she designed creative for
Johnson & Johnson Corporate and other health and wellness
brands within Johnson & Johnson. These include marketing
material, internal documents, and presentations.

CAP’N CRUNCH
Chicago, Illinois
Spring 2017
Julia participated in the Institute of Advanced Advertising Studies
through the American Association of Advertising Agencies (4A’s)
in Chicago at Northwestern University's Medill School of
Integrated Marketing Communications. Towards the end of the
program, teams are formed to create a campaign for a client in
a real-life scenario. This client for the Spring of 2017 class was
Cap'n Crunch, which is a part of PepsiCo. Julia and her team
worked with the PepsiCo clients to generate a successful insight
and idea from the creative brief. Julia worked on campaign
concepts, art direction, photography, and designing the deck
for the pitch.

ST. NORBERT COLLEGE
WOMEN’S ICE HOCKEY
Green Bay, Wisconsin
Fall 2010 - Spring 2014
While playing for the women’s ice hockey team at St. Norbert
College from 2010 - 2014, Julia was also responsible for team
marketing. She designed game-day posters, which generated
an increase of attendance at home games. The inaugural
women’s hockey team started the year Julia was recruited
to play for St. Norbert, so she was fortunate enough to also
design the jerseys for the team. Lastly, she designed the
interactive mural that will stay on the team’s locker room
wall for decades.
