Serena’s Birthday (19/1/2018) When we organize birthdays at The Little Engineer, it is all about entertainment combined with education and that is what we aim for at our institution. Serena’s ninth birthday was a birthday to remember. Everyone participated in thrilling activities, enjoying themselves as they programmed the cutting-edge Edison robot and completed missions with it. Later on an exciting SumoBot challenge took place and an engaging, competitive spirit spread all over the place. To accomplish their goals and celebrate together with the realization they were being rewarded for their hard work and the awareness that we were proud of them, that in itself was the best reward all those children can be endowed with. At TLE® Chouwaifat Center The goal of STEM education and exploration is to develop children’s innate curiosity about the world. It is very important for the small ones to link Robotics to their everyday lives. SNC students during their last session before the vacation enjoyed building one of the loveliest symbols of the holiday season. It is necessary to keep children engaged and active. Each Robotics activity has a broad impact on development and learning abilities. Children from different schools are joining The Little Engineer, Choueifat, and are enrolling in a variety of Robotics courses and/or workshops. In each Robotics class, your child and a partner work together to plan and build a new robot, letting loose their creativity and imaginations. Along the way, they learn science and engineering concepts. Robots are an engaging, hands-on way of teaching children important concepts like math and science. The spirit of competition at the end of the Robotics course exuded a positive and challenging mood among students of Al Hayat International School. 70 | 23 13 03 – 05 | 43 74 05 alisar.h@thelittleengineer.com www.thelittleengineer.com www.thelittleengineer.com

for Private and Public Schools TLE had the pleasure to visit the Omar Bin Al Khattab private school and had introduced a “class solution” for its middle and secondary schools. After 3 months, we are proud to say that the students have reached creative levels of innovation. During a meeting with the principle, he mentioned that “the science talk” has been very absorbing. Learners of today will be the innovators of tomorrow. As for College Des Saints Coeurs Ain Najm, cycle1 and cycle 2 of the “Train the Trainers” program are now under way. On the other hand, public schools like the Omar Farrukh High School for Girls began the “class solution” for middle and secondary schools, on the track to present a very innovative program at the end of the year. The “Dancing Robot Program” in collaboration with the Mouna Bustros Foundation will be held as a competition between 5 public schools on the mid of April. Moreover, we are coaching a very talented team of youngsters from a public school who will participate in an upcoming national robotics competition. We are expanding in Lebanon! HULT Prize It’s a pleasure to be a part of the HULT prize initiative as a judge and I am very glad to support young and aspiring entrepreneurs as it imbues me with a nostalgic feeling, for when I was a struggling and ambitious entrepreneur on the path to realizing my dreams I received assistance from a number of esteemed institutions including: MIT, Cartier, INSEAD, Mackenzie, Vital Voices, Global Ambassadors, and Tech Women. They invested in me and supported me so that I can achieve my inspired and hard-earned success and establish TLE's pioneering presence here and abroad. I learned a lot and the least I can do is not to withhold this knowledge but to share and pass it on. I promise to mentor, motivate and support the winning team in their future endeavors and I hope to see young entrepreneurs help boost the economy of Lebanon and improve its environment. Thank You Rana El Chemaitelly, Founder and CEO of The Little Engineer We need more girls in STEM !

L’idée de créer The Little Engineer était née.
