Cr Gail O’Neill and Chris Crawford-Tugun Community Bank Board New Hotel for Gold Coast Airport The Gold Coast airport precinct is undergoing an exciting $500 million redevelopment featuring a seven-storey, 192 room Rydges Hotel due to open by mid-2020. This $50 million hotel project will include a rooftop bar overlooking Kirra Beach, conference and meeting facilities, restaurant, resort style swimming complex and connect to the terminal via a 70 metre plaza. The airport terminal will also be extended to become a three level structure that can accommodate aerobridges.
