We are pleased to present our programme of holidays for 2020.
This year here are 40 to choose from. Your favourites are still included
and this year we’ve added a mid week break to Blackpool in July &
Durham in August. We have also re-introduced Pontins Pakefield —
allowing us to explore Norfolk & the Broads.
For a bargain week-end break join us in Bournemouth in January. For that
“far away” feeling we have Jersey By Air.

There’s always time for a Winter Warmer...
Nestled away on the western side of Chichester Harbour, Hayling Island is nicely situated for visiting
Portsmouth and the surrounding area, and we are pleased to be able to - once again - offer you a great
value holiday at Mill Rythe Holiday Village.
All the accommodation is in chalets and the rooms have central heating, comfortable beds, duvet & pil-
lows, shower and /or full length bath, colour TV & tea and coffee making facilities. Please Note: Some
rooms are accessed via a flight of stairs and we cannot guarentee that ground floor rooms will be available.
Full English Breakfasts and 3 course evening dinners are included this week and your meals will be served
to you at your reserved table. However, if you prefer, you can help yourself from a vast array of dishes at
the “Tastes of the world” selection, omelette bar or salad bar.
The theme this week is “Remember When” so be prepared to be taken back in time to celebrate years gone
by with themed activities and fantastic shows topped off with fabulous gala dinners. There is even a half
price bar for house beers, lagers, wine, spirits and soft drinks (7pm to midnight each night).
Our excursion programme this week will include visits to Portsmouth and Chichester.

Departing on Saturday morning, we travel to Folkestone & check into the Burstin Hotel. Situated on the
harbourside, this large hotel is renowned for good food & entertainment. All bedrooms are en-suite and
most rooms have good views over the harbour.
Evening dinner is a self served 3 course meal with tea/coffee. The entertainment tonight is a mix of bingo,
quiz & cabaret.
On Sunday, after a hearty buffet breakfast, our excursion is a shopping trip to France and Belgium – so
don’t forget your passport. We return in time for evening dinner and to-nights entertainment.
Monday is a free day to enjoy Folkestone. Breakfast & evening dinner are included again to-day as is the
entertainment.
We depart for home after breakfast on Tuesday, arriving back by mid afternoon.

It’s time for a cosy break….
This year we are again pleased to be able to offer you accommodation at The Queens Hotel. This is a 3*
hotel situated on the flat and only a short 5 minute walk to the seafront, harbour & town centre. It has an
indoor heated pool, secluded patio area and a lounge with large dance floor, where there is entertainment
every night.
All 76 bedrooms are comfortably furnished, have en-suite facilities and are all served by the lift. There
are also few ground floor rooms available – early booking is recommended for these. The air conditioned
restaurant is spacious and light and the service is attentive and friendly. A full English breakfast or Conti-
nental breakfast is available each morning and the 5 course evening dinner menu offers a choice of up to 4
starters, 4 main dishes ( including a vegetarian option) and a selection of desserts.
The itinerary for this cosy break starts on Monday evening with a candle-lit 5 course dinner and then the
evening entertainment.
On Tuesday we have a visit to nearby Torquay and we return to the hotel in time for afternoon tea. Your 5
course evening dinner is followed by a game of bingo and then live entertainment.
On Wednesday we have an excursion to Plymouth again returning to the hotel for your evening dinner.
There is an optional visit to Babbacombe theatre tonight for their variety show.
On Thursday we travel to Brixham, returning to the hotel for fizz & canapes before dinner & entertain-
ment to-night.

The Howden Court invites you to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the ending of WW2 by going
back to revisit the 1940’s. This promises to be a fun filled nostalgic look back at the way life was when
VE Day was declared. With displays of uniforms, old newspapers, flags, costumes and a “Bren” gun,
1940’s attire is encouraged and although there will be ration books, we’ve been assured that the spivs have
provided plenty of food for this week.
Family owned & run, the hotel has 31 en-suite bedrooms, a lift to most floors, is fully non
smoking and has a bar & dance floor all with easy access. It is a 5 minute walk to the seafront.
Full English breakfasts and 3 course evening dinners are included.

Situated in north Somerset, 2 miles from Weston Super Mare, Sand Bay Holiday Centre has plenty to
offer —whatever the weather.
All accommodation is on the ground floor and the chalets have en-suite bathroom, TV, tea/coffee and

Meals are half board, so breakfast & evening dinners are included. The dining room offers all meals self
service – so it’s portions to suit you - and there is a wide choice of dishes.
This week the theme for the entertainment is “Fun in the Sun” and will feature a mixture of cabaret

Our excursion programme will take you to Weston S Mare and on a train ride on the West Somerset Rail-

It’s a Showtime Spectacular at the hotel this week…
Situated in the heart of Torquay, the TLH group of hotels offer all the amenities of a holiday centre with
the comfort of a 3 star hotel.
At their Victoria Hotel bedrooms are located over 4 floors and there is a lift to most rooms. Drinking and
dining in the Hotel is an informal affair, with a wide selection of tasty dishes on both the breakfast and din-
ner menus, served in the bright and cheerful restaurant.
Bedrooms have a double or 2 single beds, En suite bathroom, TV & radio, complimentary tea & coffee,

Welsh Highlands

Seaside & scenery all in one holiday….
We are pleased to be able to return to Prestatyn The Beaches Hotel enjoys a unique position, on the sea
front, in North Wales. Because of this all bedrooms have views of the beaches and sea, or the Prestatyn
hills.
The spacious reception lounge has a lift to all three floors and provides easy access to the function lounge,
Promenade Bar and outside patio area, which look out over the beach to the Irish Sea. The Dunes restaurant
is warm, welcoming and relaxed. Guests have complimentary use of the large, modern, indoor swimming
pool, sauna and steam room.
On Tuesday we travel to Penrhyn Castle – a 19th centuary fantasy - followed by freetime in Llandudno.
On Wednesday we take the easy route up (and down!) Mount Snowdon – on the 4.7 mile railway. You can
either stop and enjoy the views from the visitor centre or take the path from here to the summit. This
afternoon we travel back in time with a visit to the National Slate Museum to learn about the life of the
quarry folk.
Thursday we travel to Anglesey and take a photostop at Beaumaris Castle before joining the afternoon
cruise around Puffin Island – famed for its colony of puffins and sightings of grey seals & dolphins.
We return home on Friday, arriving back by late afternoon.

Once again we are pleased to be able to offer you a holiday in the delightful
Channel Islands...
Jersey – the most southerly of the British Isles – has a unique charm, which stems from its mixture of Brit-
ish & French backgrounds. The scenery on the island is really varied - there are beautiful long sandy
beaches and secluded coves. The local attractions include everything from Neolithic caves to the German
built Underground hospital, the glass church to the pottery, the rugged coastline to the zoo. Shopaholics
will love St Helier where all the prices are VAT free and lovers of sea food will truly appreciate the local
cuisine. Getting around is easy too - there is a very good local bus service that serves all parts of the is-
land.
Accommodation is provided at The Norfolk Lodge Hotel.. All bedrooms have private bathroom, colour
TV, radio, telephone & tea/coffee facilities. There is entertainment most evenings and there is also a quiet
lounge. The hotel has a lift to all floors but be aware that there are 13 steps at the entrance to the hotel. It
also has an indoor swim pool.

Where the sunshines first...
Pontins Pakefield holiday centre is situated near Lowestoft in Suffolk, on what is referred to locally as the
Sunrise Coast due to its most easterly position. It is one of their most peaceful resorts and is ideal if you
just want to get away from it all and spend time together whilst enjoying unbeatable facilities.
You can choose from lots of FREE activities ranging from a gentle game of bowls right through to a
leisurely dip in the swimming pool. Or why not try your luck in the Games Room where they have Darts
and Snooker along-side Short Matt Bowls and Table Tennis.
The theme this week is “Music of USA”. The venue is the STARDUST CABARET LOUNGE, boasting
a sprung floor, newly installed sound system and fully equipped bar. Located in the main building, it has
easy access to the arcade, shop, cafe and reception areas. Alternatively, there is the newly refurbished
QUEEN VIC located next to the restaurant, very handy for a drink before or during meal times. This bar is
ideal to watch the football from a comfy sofa, or relax on the boardwalk area and enjoy the views.
Accommodation is in a classic double or twin chalet with en-suite bathroom, TV, free electricity & linen
provided. All chalets are on ground level.
Our excursions this week will include a boat trip on the Norfolk Broads combined with a ride on a train,

Full English Breakfasts and 3 course evening dinners are included this week and your meals will be served
to you at your reserved table. However, if you prefer, you can help yourself from a vast array of dishes at
the “Tastes of the world” selection, omelette bar or salad bar.
The theme this week is Christmas so expect festive music, themed meals and decorated trees ! The best
of British entertainment from past decades will be live on stage. This break also includes a Half price bar
each night from 7pm to midnight (on selected ‘house drinks’ including selected beers, wines, spirits and
soft drinks)
Our excursion programme this week will include visits to Portsmouth and Chichester.
We depart for home after breakfast on Friday, arriving back by mid afternoon.

Oh we do like to be beside the seaside and you can’t get much closer than this ….
Departing on Monday morning we travel to Portsmouth for the afternoon ferry and arrive at
The Trouville Hotel with time to relax before dinner. This 3* hotel is situated on the seafront and yet
only 2 mins walk to the shops.
All twin/double rooms have seaviews and all bedrooms are en-suite with shower over the bath (sorry, no
walk-in showers) . Single rooms are available at no extra cost but do NOT have seaviews. For those who
like some gentle activity, the hotel has table tennis, darts and a pool table.
The hotel offers a varied choice of menu, with up to 5 choices of main meal, including vegetarian dishes,
and for this “Taste of Christmas” there is sure to be plenty of festive food on the menu too. After dinner
you can enjoy a walk along the prom before settling down to enjoy the entertainment in the ballroom, with
dancing to suit all ages and abilities.
After a hearty breakfast on Tuesday, we’re off on our travels giving you the opportunity to sample some
of the many delights of this glorious little island. We return to our hotel in time to enjoy the views before
Evening Dinner followed by entertainment
On Wednesday, we travel to nearby Shanklin for a morning visit. You can browse amongst the quaint
shops, admire the exotic plants in the nearby “Chine” or wander along the seafront.
On Thursday we venture to Newport for a morning visit.
We return home on Friday morning, arriving back in this area by late afternoon.

Twas the night before Christmas and all was quiet - but then we reached East-
bourne and the party really started….
A warm welcome awaits you at The Alexandra Hotel. This lovely 3* hotel is situated on the seafront and
only 5 mins from the Town Centre. The hotel offers a very high standard of service, as you would expect
from a family run establishment. All rooms are en-suite and have colour TV and tea/coffee facilities.
There is a lift to all floors. Meals are Half Board: a hearty Full English breakfast is served every morning
and each evening there is a 3 course evening dinner with a varied menu.
Entertainment is provided most nights of your stay with the usual mix of seasonal sing songs and festive
favourites. There will also be an opportunity visit the local theatre on Wednesday.
As usual our excursion programme will enable you to see some of the local area including Rye & Hastings
& Brighton.
