Last month, we forwarded a request for donations to the Red Cross. The Embassy of Italy in Canada, in partnership with the Canadian Red Cross, launched a fundraising campaign to support the Italian Red Cross’s COVID-19 preparedness and response activities. The ICCA proudly supported this campaign, as did many of our ICCA community. If you would like to support this cause, the information is provided in this issue or our website. The hope is that once the video is finalized and screened both within and beyond our community, we will be able to get additional funding to continue to interview Italian immigrant women, and eventually men, in Halifax and create an archive of the Italian experience in Halifax.
