It never ceases to impress its visitors. Munich is the kind of city you can wander around and bump into history around every corner. Sit down at a street café, enjoy a leisurely coffee (or beer) and watch shoppers along Maximilianstrasse. A visit to Munich is not complete without visiting to the famous Hoffbrauhaus, where we will treat you to a beer of course. If you find the size of the mighty one litre beer daunting, you might want to opt for a Radler – half beer and half lemonade. The Oktoberfest is still in full swing with lots of entertainment at the fairgrounds. The fun continues well into the night. New friends to be made from all corners of the world and of course, Germany. Friday, 25 Sept Our last day in Munich and time to finish shopping, do some more exploring or meet up with new friends at the Oktoberfest, before travelling to the airport for our flight to Istanbul this afternoon. And from Istanbul, back home. Saturday, 26 Sept We arrive in Johannesburg. Home after an extraordinary experience with Gerrie Pretorius, one of the best tour companions ever.
