North The University’s main campus on North Terrace is renowned for its historic architecture and lively Terrace atmosphere. Located in the heart of Adelaide’s central business and shopping district, the campus is adjacent campus to the State Library, Festival Theatre, South Australian Museum, Art Gallery of South Australia, Adelaide Zoo, and Botanic Gardens. Waite campus The Waite campus is home to the internationally renowned Waite Research Institute—the largest agricultural research institute in the southern hemisphere and third largest in the world. A number of research partners are also co-located there. Staff and students work closely with these organisations, providing a unique opportunity for collaboration on national and international research projects. Research areas include wine, plant biotechnology, plant breeding, sustainable agriculture and food science. The campus is located eight kilometres south of the city centre and is easily accessible by public transport and a Waite-North Terrace campus shuttle bus service. Roseworthy has an AUD$37 million veterinary clinic, Roseworthy campus where students can gain clinical experience. Roseworthy campus Roseworthy campus is an internationally renowned centre for excellence in dryland agriculture, natural resource management and animal production. Set on over 1,600 hectares of land, it is home to South Australia’s only veterinary school. The campus is located 55 kilometres north of Adelaide and 10 kilometres from the town of Gawler (population 24,000). Access is available by a North Terrace-Roseworthy campus shuttle bus. Scholarships to help you on your way The University of Adelaide Scholarships to help you on your way is committed to providing educational opportunities for international students by offering a range of scholarships. Global Citizens Scholarship Rewards international students commencing an undergraduate degree who have received academic merit in their studies. Students can receive a reduction of between 15% and 30% of the tuition fee. Global Academic Excellence Scholarship These are highly competitive awards that reward commencing international students who have demonstrated academic excellence in previous studies. The scholarship offers a reduction of 50% of the tuition fee for the minimum standard full-time duration of the student's chosen undergraduate degree. Higher Education Scholarship Rewards international students who have demonstrated their passion for learning and loyalty to Australian education, by successfully completing an Australian year 12 high school qualification or AQF-recognised course or degree at an Australian higher education institution, prior to commencing at the University of Adelaide. Family Scholarship This scholarship is for family members (a spouse or sibling) of our current or graduated students. Simply provide an English-translated birth certificate that shows your relationship and receive a 25% tuition fee reduction. Students who study full-time and complete their degree within the minimum timeframe, will receive this reduction in each year of their degree. 20
Scholarships to help you on your way Alumni Scholarship We value our students and appreciate their passion for learning and loyalty to the University of Adelaide. Students will receive a 25% tuition fee reduction if they complete a second or subsequent degree at Adelaide. Graduates will automatically receive this scholarship in each year of their, if they study full-time and complete their degree within the minimum timeframe.
