Foundation Studies program The program acts as a bridging course for international students who wish to study a university undergraduate course but don’t yet meet academic requirements and/or have the English language skills for tertiary study. University of Tasmania International Pathway College Foundation Entry requirement The AUS equivalent of Year 11. Studies Must be aged 17 years old or more. Diploma Program for international students The International First Year Diploma functions as an alternative first year of an undergraduate degree course. Entry Requirement Students with 3 years post High School study or relevant management work experience: •Students with IELTS levels University of Tasmania of 5.5 (no band less than International Pathway College 5.0) or equivalent should enrol for the two semesters Graduate which comprise the one semester Pre-masters Certificate of Preparation Program and then the six-month Business Graduate Certificate in Business Studies (35A1) program. Studies • Students who already have IELTS levels of 6.0 (no band less than 6.0) or equivalent can enter directly into the Graduate Certificate in Business Studies program.

University of Tasmania International Pathway College Scholarships Scholarships valued up to 20% of tuition fees are available for pathway programs (excluding Pre- Masters Preparation Program). Tasmanian International Scholarship (TIS) The TIS provides commencing international students with a 25% reduction in registered tuition fees Scholarship for the duration of their course (provided satisfactory grades are maintained). All international students who submit an application to study in an undergraduate degree (with the exception of the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, Bachelor of Dementia Care and AMC Seafaring courses) will be automatically assessed for the TIS Scholarship by our Admissions Team.
