WALKER TESTIMONIALS The Oxfam 100km trail walk was something sitting in my bucket list for a long time, and now even though I have proudly ticked it off, finishing it in our first attempt in under 28 hours, I can hear the trail shouting out to me again! I had heard of Oxfam and all the wonderful work they do but honestly didn't know what I was getting into. Learning more about the difference Oxfam makes in people's lives helped my determination get stronger. I knew I was doing this for myself, but thought if my body gives up and my mind doesn't support me either, there would be something that would still motivate me and keep me going - the fight against gender inequality. READ MORE - Shilpa Pal, Team Invincibles, Mumbai I can speak for our whole group of 12 that Trailwalker was one of the most memorable experiences of our year! The camaraderie and bonding we shared during our various practises for the months preceding it, the way we all came together seamlessly and productively to plan the event, the physical and mental challenge on the actual day, the beauty and variety of the trail which meandered through stunning Indian fields, streams, villages, canyons, and highways, the sense of accomplishment of completion, and the satisfying feeling of knowing we had raised money for Oxfam’s programs to reduce poverty and injustice - were the highlights of our experience. - Shonar Chinoy, Team Copacolaba, Mumbai
