ADVANTAGES DRIVING ON LNG SUSTAINABILITY LNG burns much cleaner than diesel → less health damage Approximately 38% less NOx than diesel Euro VI standard Approximately 93% less particulate matter than diesel Euro VI standard 10% to 15% less CO2 emissions Liquefied natural gas (LNG) transport already complies with strict European emission standards for freight transport.
ADVANTAGES DRIVING ON LNG LESS NOISE POLLUTION An LNG engine emits less noise than a diesel engine ➢70 DBA compared to 80 for an ordinary truck For freight traffic this allows loading and unloading outside the usual window times.
ADVANTAGES DRIVING ON LNG WIDE CHOICE OF TRUCKS In terms of power, torque and payload, these trucks are in no way inferior to modern diesel trucks. SUBSIDIEREGELINGEN AUTOMOTIVE Wallonia: Subsidy scheme already published in the Belgian Official Gazette: • The maximum authorised mass must be greater than 3.5 tonnes • The traffic tax must be paid in the Walloon Region • The company must have a place of business in the Walloon Region • For an SME, the maximum premium is 24,000 euros per LNG vehicle (19,200 euros for a large company). • 30 investeringen per company • Until 31 December 2021
