DATE : 06-02-2020 9 IAS PRE & MAINS: Current Important Topic’s Gist A.Ram Temple Trust The Centre announced nine members of Board of Trustees of the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirath Kshetra, the new Trust constituted by the Centre for construction of Ram Mandir. Senior lawyer of Supreme Court Supreme Court 92-year old K Parasaran, who headed the team of lawyers in apex court in the decades old Ram Janmabhoomi land dispute, has been appointed as Chairman of the Trust. In all the Trust will have 14 members. District magistrate of Ayodhya will be the ex-officio trustee, who will be a practising Hindu. If the DM is not Hindu, then additional district magistrate will be an ex-office member of the Trust. 1. The Centre has announced 10 –members (nine names announced by the Centre and one DM of Ayodhya) who will be members of the Trust.
Note- 1. Remaining four members will be nominated – two by the Board of Trustees with a majority resolution, one by the Centre who will be an IAS officer deputed at the Centre not below the rank of joint secretary. 2. While, the state government will nominate one member an IAS officer not below the rank Secretary. Members of the Board of Trustees announced by the Centre are 1. K K Parasaran (chairman), 2. Jagatguru Shankjaracharya Jyotishpeethadeshwar Swami Vasudevanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj of Prayagraj; 3. Jagatguru Mahadevacharya Vishwaprasanna Theertha Maharaj of Udupi, Karnataka; 4. Yugpurush Paramananda Ji Maharaj of Haridwar; 5. Swami Govind Dev Ji Maharaj, Puna; 6. Vimlendra Mohan Pratap Mishra, Ayodhya naresh; 7. Dr Anil Mishra, a practising Homeopathic doctor of Ayodhya, 8. Kameshwar Chaupal of Patna 9. Mahant Mahant Dhinendra Das, head of the Nirmohi Akhara. Note- However, name of Nritya Gopal Das, head of the Ram, Janmabhoomi Nyas, does not figure in the list. There is a possibility that he might be nominated by the Board of Trustees. The Centre also mandated that any point of time all members of the Trust will be practising Hindus and one of them must belong to the Schedule Caste category. One representative will be nominated by the UP government who shall be a practising Hindu and an IAS officer and shall not be below the rank of secretary to the UP government and shall be an ex officio member and the Ayodhya district collector will be the ex officio trustee who shall be a practising Hindu. If for any reason the incumbent collector is not a practising Hindu, the additional collector of Ayodhya who shall be a practising Hindu shall be an ex officio member. development and administration of matters relating to the Ram Temple complex, who will be appointed by the Board of Trustees, who shall be a practising Hindu shall be an ex officio member. The Centre on Wednesday constituted an independent 15-member trust to oversee the construction of a "grand and magnificent" Ram temple in Ayodhya, an announcement made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Lok Sabha four days before the expiry of a 3-month deadline set by the Supreme Court. Lionfish are now one of the top predators in many coral reef environments of the Atlantic. Lionfish consume over 50 species of fish including some economically and ecologically important species.
Although lionfish have been used as a food source in their native range, economically, they are far more important in the aquarium trade. Lionfish are very popular and common aquarium fish, especially in the U.S. C.Auto Expo-2020 The Auto Expo is a biennial automotive show held in Greater Noida, NCR, India. It is Asia's largest and the world's second-largest motor show. Till 2012, the auto expo was organized at Pragati Maidan New Delhi, but since 2014 it is organized at NCR Region - India Expo Mart, Greater Noida Uttar Pradesh. It is organized jointly by: 1. The Automotive Component Manufacturers Association (ACMA) 2. Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) 3. Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM)
The Auto Expo was conceived in the year 1985 and had its debut showcasing in 1986. The 9 day show was marked by then Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.
