Good Tidings For All Same Beauty, New Guidelines Know Our Visiting Guidelines. Please honor the visiting guidelines we’ve created in accordance with state and local regulations. Face masks are required (ages 2 and older) in both indoor and outdoor public spaces, unless individuals are outside and are able to consistently maintain a distance of six feet from individuals who are not members of their household. Visit longwoodgardens.org/visiting to help you prepare for your visit. You will also receive an email prior to your visit that details our visiting guidelines. Know Our Conservatory Guidelines. Our Conservatory will feature a one-way walking route throughout and face masks are required. Food and beverage consumption, as well as tripod use and professional photo shoots, are not permitted inside the Conservatory. The Indoor Children’s Garden is closed; Organ Sing-Alongs and choral performances will not take place this year. Buy Before You Arrive. We have limited our admission capacity for the season, so plan ahead and make your Member reservations in advance. Print your Member reservations and tickets at home and show them upon entry or go paperless and open them on your smartphone prior to entering the Visitor Center. Parking is Free and Available Only in Our Main Lot. Handicap parking with your permit is available in the main lot. Please note: Due to limited capacities, remote parking and bus transportation are not being used this year. Start Your Visit Together. All guests included in your party must enter the admissions queue together; please do not enter the line until all members of your party are present. The Visitor Center lobby is not available for waiting for other members of your party.
Getting Around the Gardens. Shuttle service is not provided. A limited number of wheelchairs and scooters are available on a first-come, first- served basis. Strollers are not available. You are welcome to bring your own mobility device. xperience Our Lights and Fountains. Our outdoor lights and fire pits E begin to come on at 12 pm daily. Our Open Air Theatre fountain shows run daily from 10 am–11 pm, while our Large Lake and Main Fountain Garden light displays run daily from 4–11 pm (weather permitting). Bundle Up! A Longwood Christmas is both indoors and outdoors. Be Sure You Have All You Need. Once you enter the Gardens, you may stay as long as you wish. Once you leave the Gardens, there is no re-entry, so please make sure you have everything you need before entering. Map Your Route. Visit longwoodgardens.org/maps/christmas on your smartphone to see all the locations throughout the Gardens filled with Christmas cheer. You can also find a detachable Conservatory and outdoor gardens map in this brochure to bring with you. Printed maps are not available on-site. 11 Shop with Us. As re-entry is not permitted, we ask that you shop in our GardenShop prior to entering the admissions queue or at the conclusion of your visit. The GardenShop entrance and exit are on the Visitor Center patio to the left of the main entrance doors. Fantastically Festive Features Food & Spirits Enjoy delicious dining options in our Beer Garden, Café, and 1906 throughout A Longwood Christmas. Outdoor concessions are also available throughout the Gardens. The Café Enjoy à la carte options for the entire family, from ready- to-eat sandwiches and salads to hot entrée selections to freshly prepared desserts. When dining at The Café, you may use mobile ordering via your mobile device. When ordering, log in using your Longwood Member username and password to receive your Member dining discount. Open Air Theatre Fountain Shows Our Open Air Theatre fountains run daily from 10 am –11 pm. Shows are weather permitting. Please note: While the Main Fountain Garden will feature a holiday light display, fountains will not run during this time. Main Fountain Garden fountains return May 6, 2021. Light Displays Enjoy light displays choreographed to holiday music in our Main Fountain Garden and by our Large Lake, running every five minutes from 4–11 pm.
