Operation:

Mini New York
_	This appliance is designed for 240V,
   50Hz AC operation.
_ 	The Mini New York is ideal for flicks,
     curls, waves and fringes.
_ 	Ceramic coated plates allow for quick
    heating and cooling with an even
    distribution of heat across the plates.
_ 	To operate, switch on using the on/
    off switch and allow to heat up for
    approximately 30 seconds.

Ionic Vegas
_ 	This appliance is designed for 240V,
    50Hz AC operation.
_ 	To operate, switch on using the on/
    off switch and allow to heat up for
    approximately 50 seconds.

_ 	Ceramic floating plate technology allows
     for quick heating and cooling with an even
     distribution of heat across the plates.
_ 	Ionic technology gives silky smooth hair
    with a static free sheen.

Ionic Pro 17
_	This appliance is designed for 240V,
   50Hz AC operation.
_ 	Pro 17 is ideal for use on short hair
    and fringes for both men and women.
_ 	To operate, switch on using the on/
    off button and allow to heat up for
    approximately 50 seconds.
_ 	Select the required temperature
    by pressing the temperature button.
_ 	The LED light will flash to indicate
    that the desired temperature has
    been reached.
_ 	To switch off press the on/off button
    until all the LED lights are off.

Pro Ionic 27 & Pro Ionic 28
_ 	To operate, hold on/off switch for a few
    seconds until LED light comes on.
_ 	Press the temperature switch to select your
    required temperature. The colour indicator
    indicates which temperature you have selected.
_ 	The LED will flash to indicate that the desired
    temperature has been reached.
_ 	To switch off hold on/off switch for a few
    seconds until the LED light goes off.
_ 	Ceramic floating plate technology allows
    for quick heating and cooling with an even
    distribution of heat across the plates.
_ 	The Pro Ionic 27 / 28 operates at 110V or 240V
     (AC only). It can be used anywhere in the
     world and will automatically determine |the
     local supply voltage and adjust itself.
_ 	The styler is fitted with a two pin Euro plug
    covered with a UK 13 amp adaptor.
_ 	To use the styler outside the UK, in a country
     where the Euro plug is standard, simply remove
     the securing screw between the three pins and
     slide the adaptor from the two pin plug.
 _ 	Reverse the process to refit the 3 pin
     adaptor in the UK
_ 	For use in other countries a travel adaptor
    may be required

Pro Dallas
_ 	This appliance is designed for 240V,
    50Hz AC operation.
_ 	Ceramic plates allow for quick heating and
    cooling with an even distribution of heat
    across the plates.
_ 	To switch on press the on/off switch until
    LED light is on.
_ 	Press the temperature button to select
    required temperature and allow plates to
    heat up for approx 50 seconds.
_    o switch off press the on/off switch until

    LED light goes off.

Pro Wet N Dry
_ 	This appliance is designed for 240v, 50Hz
    AC operation.
_ 	Wet N Dry technology allows the appliance
    to be used on damp hair. Ventilation holes
    allow for release of excess moisture.
_ 	To switch on press the on/off switch until
    LED light is on.

_ 	To switch off press the on/off switch until
    LED light goes off.

Pro 66
_ 	This appliance is designed for 110 or 240v,
    60/50Hz AC operation. It can be used
    anywhere in the world with an appropriate
    adaptor.
_ 	Ceramic coated plates allow for quick
    heating and cooling with an even
    distribution of heat across the plates.
_ 	To switch on press the on/off switch until
    LED light is on.
_	To select the required temperature turn the
   dial (5 for highest temperature and 1 for
   lowest temperature) and allow plates to heat
   up for approx 50 seconds.
_ 	To switch off press the on/off switch until
    LED light goes off.

Storage:
_	Unplug the appliance, let it cool
   and store it in its box or in a dry place.
_	The cord should be loosely coiled,
   never wrap it tightly around the unit.
_	Do not subject the cord to any stress where
   it enters the handle as it could cause the
   cord to fray and possibly break.

Cleaning:
_	Before cleaning the unit disconnect
   from the mains.
_	Always unplug the appliance
   and allow to cool before cleaning.
_	The appliance must only be cleaned
   when it is cold. Use a soft cloth to wipe
   the plates and handle.
_	Do not use abrasives or cleaning solutions.
_	Take great care never to dip the unit in
   water or any other liquid.
_	Should liquid happen to penetrate
   the appliance’s casing, unplug the

   appliance immediately and have
   it repaired by a qualified electrician.

!   Important Safety Notes:
    _	Before connecting the appliance check
       that the voltage indicated on the type
       plate corresponds to the mains voltage
       in your home.
    _ 	Do not leave appliance unattended
        while it is operating or plugged in.
    _ 	Do not use the appliance in humid
        areas, such as bathrooms.
    _ 	Do not use the appliance near or
        over water contained in baths, sinks
        or washbasins etc.
    _ 	To avoid the hazard of being burnt, do
        not let the heated surface come in to
        contact with the skin .
    _ 	This appliance is not intended for use by
        children or persons with reduced physical,
        sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
        experience or knowledge unless they
        have been given supervision or instructions
        concerning the use of the appliance.
    _	Use styling aids and spray products
       away from the iron. Never spray directly
       onto the appliance.
    _ 	This appliance is only for its intended use.
        Do not use attachments not recommended
        by the manufacturer.

_	Always ensure that the hot plates
   do not come into contact with
   the supply cord.
_ 	Never operate this appliance if it has
    a damaged cord or plug, or if it has
    visible signs of damage. If it does not
    work properly or has been dropped in
    water, have the appliance tested and
    repaired by a qualified electrician.
_ 	Do not leave the appliance
     exposed to sun, rain etc.
_ 	Do not allow the hot plates to touch
    textiles, plastic materials, or heat
    sensitive surfaces.
_ 	Unplug the appliance when not in
    use and before cleaning. The appliance
    is only completely switched off once
    it has been unplugged.
_ 	Always unplug the power cord from
    the plug, do not pull on the cord itself.
_ 	Never hang the appliance
    by the power cord.
_ 	In the case of manipulation,

    repairing or any modification
    of the appliance made by an
    unqualified individual or in the case
    of improper use, the warranty
    will be invalidated.

Disposal instruction for old products:
_ 	The Waste Electrical and Electronic
    Equipment (WEEE) Directive ensures
    that products are recycled using the
    best available treatment, recovery and
    recycling techniques to ensure human
    health and high environmental protection.
_	Do not dispose of your old product
   in your general household waste bin
_	Dispose of your old product
   according to your local authority’s
   recycling procedure.
_ 	For further information contact
    your local authority.
_ 	Alternatively take your complete old
    product back to the retailer where you
    purchased it from. They should accept
    it as required by WEEE directive .
