MEDIA & PUBLICITY As a VIP team, it’s important that you accurately represent your relationship to the Harvard Innovation Labs. These guidelines help ensure accuracy and allow your venture to benefit from the association. Press Guidelines When speaking with reporters or drafting a press release, please say: that you are a member of the Harvard Innovation Labs Venture Incubation Program. Please do not say: that you are “Launching your venture/product in partnership with Harvard/Harvard Innovation Labs.” that “Harvard/the Harvard Innovation Labs is launching your venture or product.” Please connect reporters who want to learn more about the Harvard Innovation Labs with our PR Manager, Alex Parks: alex_parks@harvard.edu. Resumes & LinkedIn Guidelines Under “Experience,” please list the name of your venture as your company or employer. In the company description, please write: “incubated at Harvard Innovation Labs via the Venture Incubation Program.” Please do not list Harvard Innovation Labs as your employer. Your venture is your own!
We are innovators, entrepreneurs, and seekers. But above all, we are a community. We strive to be kind and to create a space where striking up conversation is easy and where people leave their work on the whiteboards because they’re excited to get feedback from others. Part of being a community means taking care of our shared spaces as if they were our own (or better). Part of it means remembering that this is far more than a coworking space. Part of it means living by the mantra that collaboration equals shared success. And all of it means that whatever we put into this shared project we call innovation is what we’ll get out of it. innovationlabs.harvard.edu Harvard Innovation Labs 125 Western Ave Boston, MA, 02163
