Dear Parents and Campers, We are excited and looking forward to summer camp 2022! Exciting new program sessions are being planned for Daisy K-1st, Brownies 2nd-3rd, Juniors 4th-5th, Cadettes 6th-8th, Seniors 9th-10th and Ambassadors 11th-12th grades. A successful summer camp happens because of the dedication from our girls, parents, volunteers, and staff working together. We hope to see you at summer camp! Health and safety are still at the top of our list. We will continue to follow covid guidelines, including wearing masks at times if necessary. If you would like to volunteer for a week, 3 days or just a day, please let us know by emailing camp@gswrc.org. Our adult volunteers will be housed in a different area than their camper to lessen home sickness with other campers. Camp Credits (CC), formerly known as Golden Tickets are worth $300 towards camp. They are being called credits because you can split them into $5 increments and they can be used for summer resident camp, camp programs and council day camp. A weeklong session at resident camp this year is $325, but if you use all your Camp Credits for a session, you will receive a bonus discount of $25!! If you plan to earn Camp Credits in 2022, you can register before you earn them with a promissory note to save your spot. The link to the note can be found at: https://www.gskentucky.org/en/Camp/SummerResidentCamp.html. Cookie Dollars can also be used, contact us about how to use them. Picture above is some of the Golden Ticket recipients at the camp ceremony honoring them. Financial assistance is available to campers that participated in the 2022 cookie sales. Due to budgeting challenges, camperships are limited and will not be awarded 100%.
