27 GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BOOKING ARTICLE 1: BOOKING All bookings must be confirmed in writing, bearing the words “Read and approved”, at the latest 10 working days before the date of the visit and the deposit must be paid into the account indicated in Article 2. ARTICLE 2: PAYMENT The total amount for the visit must be paid within eight days of receipt of the invoice, drawn up after your visit to Namur. This should be paid into BELFIUS account No: BE 78 0682 2230 0886 of the Namur Tourist Office. Reference to be given on the transfer slip: the invoice number, the customer reference and the date of the visit. However, for amounts of at least €500, a deposit of 50 % will be requested upon confirmation of the visit. This deposit will be paid within the period stipulated in this letter. Items not included in the package will be paid for immediately. If the payment deadlines are not met, administrative costs of € 10 will be charged, together with interest on arrears amounting to 8.5 % per year. Cheques are not accepted. ARTICLE 3: MODIFICATION Any modification in the number of people will be accepted until three working days before the date of the visit. Beyond this time, no repayment will be made if the number of people present is lower than the number announced. If the number is higher, the amount invoiced will be increased (in line with the number of additional people). If the programme is modified after confirmation, a fixed supplement of €10 will be charged for each modification. ARTICLE 4: CANCELLATION If the confirmed programme is cancelled entirely up to five working days before the date of the visit, a minimum fixed sum of €52 will be charged. After this period or if the group does not keep the appointment, a forfeit will be charged, amounting to 50 % of the total amount plus a fixed sum of €52. On the day, 100 % of the total amount will be charged, plus a fixed sum of €52, if the group does not keep the appointment. The cancellation will take effect only after confirmation from our service. ARTICLE 5: DISPUTES The courts of the legal district of Namur have sole jurisdiction in the event of a dispute.
