Your Deluxe tent is built on wooden platform and comes complete with a cozy King size bed, luxurious linens and a full bathroom. Suite tents are a bit larger and also include a Queen sofa bed. A cot can be added to either tent. Under Canvas is committed to connecting you with nature and making your stay comfortable, while also limiting the camp's environmental impact. To conserve water, there are no bathtubs, but pull chain showers offer hot water for bathing. They use solar power as much as possible including to illuminate the forest paths that connect the tents. Tents do not have electricity. Instead they have battery powered lanterns with USB ports for charging phones and wood stoves to keep your tent warm at night. Never fear, the extremely helpful staff at Under Canvas will teach you how to start a fire when you check in. And there are communal bathrooms on property with electricity if needed for a hair dryer or the like. Tents do not have potable water, but there is water available at the lobby tent and various locations throughout the camp. Coffee will be delivered to you each morning, but no food is allowed in the tents (the property is fenced, but wildlife is abundant). There is no kitchen on site, but daily breakfast will be provided by your guides each morning near the lobby tent.
