STUDENTS & PARENTS’ FAQ
Q: WHAT DO THE COEFFICIENTS LOOK LIKE FOR THE BAC?
AS OF JUNE 2021 Language/Literature coefficient 15 for all students The written test lasts four hours and comprises a choice of 3 essays. The oral test consists of a 30 minute interrogation on a number of works or texts. History/Geography coefficient 15 for all students The written and oral tests are based on specific syllabi for all classes. The oral exam consists of a 15 minute talk on topics covered in the course and announced in May.

Q: WHAT DOES THE OIB ORAL LOOK LIKE?
Q: HOW MANY TEACHING HOURS? Situations vary quite a lot, depending on schools (public section, private section, all English, English/French combo, etc.)
Q: HOW TO QUICKLY EXPLAIN THE OIB PROGRAM TO MY COLLEAGUES & MY PRINCIPAL?
Les sections internationales s'inscrivent dans le cadre de partenariats bilatéraux conclus entre la France et les États étrangers ou des organismes représentant leur système éducatif. Les élèves comme les enseignants y sont français et étrangers. Q: WHAT IS THE STUDENTS’ ENGLISH LEVEL REQUIRED TO BEGIN WITH? Again, situations may vary, depending on schools (some do organize an entrance test, some take students right out of middle school with a good profile...)
