3D TEC LPH Item no. 838
3D TEC LPH is a new kind of LPH material specially developed for our modern production systems. It stands out
by being easy to rework.
3D TEC LPH FOR RIC/SLIM Item no. 1234
This process makes it easy to install a manufacturer-specific connection with the adapter RIC or SLIM TUBE.
3D THERMOtec® (CAST) Item no. 12331
Patented and leading global THERMOtec® material for satisfied customers. Certified material testing guarantees
safety and biological compatibility. THERMOtec® ensures dry ears with good moisture transport, prevents pressure
and pain during jaw movements and provides an optimal seal to remain elastic. A natural feel, combined with
excellent skin tolerability. THERMOtec® stays hard at room temperature and is easy to insert. It becomes
soft and flexible in the ear canal. Absolutely tear-proof, no UV discoloration and certified in accordance with
DIN EN ISO 13485.
3D THERMOtec® for RIC mounting Item no. 12330
Select these earmolds to be able to use any S/M receivers easily and without sleeves. You can use the Sivantos
adapter in the drill hole for Connexx receivers. Alternatively, the receiver can be placed using the MultiFix
system in narrow ear canals.
3D SOFT SILICONE (CAST) Item no. 1227
3D SOFT SILICONE (CAST) is a new kind of silicone material. The highly tear-resistant silicone is very supple.
Just as in the 3D TEC LPH process, the product is first created on the screen and then produced as a sleeve
(cast) in a 3D printing process. Then the silicone material is inserted and hardened manually. The sleeve (cast)
is removed and the process is then manually finished.

All of our products are marked with a SERIAL NUMBER in red and blue for no additional charge. The right side is
marked in red and the left in blue. In case of limited space, earmolds are marked with “L” and “R.” Optionally, you
can take select a CUSTOM NAME and then engrave a customer’s name, for instance, with no additional charge.
YOUR OWN LOGO: You can select this option with no additional charge. You will be charged a one-time set-up
fee for your logo (extra).
SURFACE – FOR 3D SOFT SILICONE
All of our 3D SOFT SILICONE earmolds are sealed with an antibacterial silicone coating free of charge as a
standard feature. It seals the earpiece and protects both ear and material.
GLOSSY GLOSSY SILICONE COATING: Silicone coating applied subsequently to the 3D SOFT SILICONE earpiece has a
brilliantly glossy and transparent appearance. It is highly robust and long-lasting.
SILK MATTE SILICONE COATING: This new kind of silicone coating has a matte look and offers a long-lasting and
comfortably soft surface (visually inconspicuous). Because of this, these earmolds have a high acceptance rate.

All of our 3D THERMOtec® earmolds are produced and delivered without coating so as not to negatively impact
the oxygen permeability of the material. This means you receive a highly breathable product that can easily be

GLAZING: Glazing is a highly robust coating that gives the earmold a brilliant glossy and transparent look.
SILK MATTE COATING: This new coating with a silk matte finish is less visually conspicuous, does not accumulate
dirt, and offers a long-lasting seal.

For MANUFACTURER-DEPENDENT connections for RIC and SLIM TUBE, we install the desired connection according to your
manufacturer-specific requirements, including a click plug-in system for no additional charge. The positioning of the canal connection
is precisely adjusted and simulated during modeling. After the adapter (RIC/Slim) is installed, the connection function is checked and
documented on the quality slip during manual production.

The Hörluchs development department has analyzed the properties of the original manufacturer
sleeves and optimized their advantages for everyday use by audiologists. The SMART SOCKET is the
result. A specialized plastic, which is currently only available in black due to its unique properties,
offers an innovative solution from Hörluchs which you can use to easily adapt RIC earmolds from
the following manufacturers:
• Starkey (SnapFit)
• Widex (EasyWear)
• GN ReSound (SureFit)
This new development by Hörluchs was the next logical step based on our many years of experience,
to ensure our partners can adjust earmolds even better and more easily. The following are just
some reasons to choose the HÖRLUCHS SMART SOCKET:
• Now, you can easily complete comparative adjustments, since all three
manufacturers can be optimally adjusted using the SMART SOCKET.

INNOVATION COMBINING
THE ADVANTAGES
OF TWO WORLDS
UNIRIC Starting in January 2019, Hörluchs will be offering its partners
earmolds made of THERMOtec® in 70 Shore. This allows us to
combine the stability and processing capabilities of the hard
material with the elasticity and excellent comfort of a soft
earmold.
THERMOtec® is a plastic specially developed and patented by
HEBA for earmolds. It is physiologically harmless. It has been
tested by internationally recognized institutes for “dermal
irritation,” “sensitization” and “cytotoxicity” in accordance
with ISO 10993-1 with outstanding results.
THERMOtec® has one major advantage in comparison to
other materials:

FLEXIBLE TO USE
The applications of THERMOtec® are just as flexible as the properties of the material itself. Hörluchs offers the following applications,

• THERMOtec® earmolds for normal tubes in foil and comfort.
• THERMOtec®earmolds for universal RIC connection.
In general, Hörluchs offers three options for installing receiver in the ear hearing aid:
• All common S/M receivers: these are generally installed in the universal drill hole without a sleeve. The principle is the same as for the
