HOUSEHOLD WASTE - RED LID Glamorgan Spring Bay Council residents receive a 140 Litre mobile garbage bin with a red lid for the general household garbage. Your garbage will be collected weekly. The table overleaf shows collection days in your area. Please have your garbage bin out by 6am to ensure collection. It may be easier to put it out the night before. HOUSEHOLD RECYCLING – YELLOW In addition to the garbage collection, residents receive a 140 Litre mobile garbage bin with a yellow lid for recycling. This service occurs fortnightly on every second garbage collection day (simply put both bins out). Please telephone 6256 4777 for detail on recycling dates. Please have your recycling bin out by 6am to ensure collection. It may be easier to put it out the night before. COMMERCIAL WASTE and RECYCLING SERVICE Glamorgan Spring Bay Council also offers a 240 Litre Commercial collection service for local business. WHERE TO PLACE YOUR BINS FOR COLLECTION Bins must be 1 metre apart Face the wheels towards the house Do not place bin near trees or Do not place bin behind cars. Do not overload the bin power poles, or this close together. (maximum 50kg). PLEASE REMEMBER THE FOLLOWING POINTS: • All rubbish must be bagged; • No garbage is to be placed on top or beside bin, as extra garbage will not be taken; • Please clean your bin to prevent odours - wash it out on your lawn to keep our waterways clean; • Place items loosely in the bin - jammed items will not come out; and • Please return the bin to your premises as soon as possible after collection to avoid theft. www.jjswaste.com.au

BICHENO - The Bicheno WMC is 2km south of the town, on the Tasman Highway. COLES BAY - The WMC at Coles Bay is located by turning off Coles Bay Road, about 5kms from the township.
